Taff's had a bit of time off due to having a nasty cough but he's all better now and is coming back into full work! Going to get him fit to do some hunter trials😆 ((this was yesterday, excuse my pyjamas I had white jodhpurs on underneath😂))

The little old man made me very proud yesterday (as always!) Ollie was supposed to be doing a Novice test but had a sore shoulder, so Taff stepped up to the job! Our first novice together and he scored 64% with a 7 for his medium trot!!!!! I couldn't believe how strong and feisty he was😂 he certainly enjoyed being back out and strutting his stuff again after a little break❤️

Taffy went to stockland lovell today to do the pairs hunter trial with Shannon and Cilla. We did the 2ft (more like a 2ft3) and it was Cilla's first time so we didn't have particularly high hopes for a clear round, but they were both brilliant!!!! They hacked round it clear AND WON IT!!! Taff thoroughly enjoyed himself (as did I) so as long as the ground is good he shall be doing the hunter trial at pontispool on the 18th October! So much love for this pony❤️

It just goes to show what a true legend Taffy really is, at the last minute we decided Taff would go and do the BD at KSEC instead of Ollie due to him not being quite right, Taff was only ridden once last week and hasn't competed in a while, yet he still tried his little heart out in prelim 17 (his first long arena test with me) got 67% and came 4th and was the smallest and no doubt the oldest there! Love him lots❤️

Just a quick Taff update🙈
He's had a few weekends off competing whilst I've been focussing a bit more on Ollie, but he has got some shows coming up! He might be doing a BD at ksec on Saturday depending on Ollie's back, he's got combined training on the 31st at stretcholt and on the 5th September he shall be doing some dressage specifically for veterans where he could potentially qualify for some veteran dressage championships thing!!

Taffy went to Badgworth on Saturday for combined training and the legend won it with 72% dressage and a clear showjumping!

Taffles came to KSEC with Ollie today to do some dressage (prelim 12) in a very busy and competitive class (approx 22 I think)! After being a bit hot and tired for the first half of test in the first canter we managed to jump out of the dressage ring due to having no brakes and not making it around the corner! The rest of his test must've made up for it though because he managed to come 2nd with 72%! Very proud of the old man as he's now qualified for the NFU Championships in October!

Fabulous day at Pontispool with the legend that is Taffy! He was feeling a little bit too well in the dressage and was very very strong, but still managed a respectable 30%! Then went double clear and absolutely flew round the cross country pulling my arms out the entire way to end up 7th out of 35!!! Couldn't be happier, especially seeing as he's not evented since 2013 !!!!

Taffy went to Stretcholt today to do Prelim 7 against Ollie. I betted that Taff would beat him and he did! He also won the class with 73%! He's feeling very well at the moment I think as there were a few issues with brakes, but other than that he was his usual legendary self who is very smug about kicking his brother's ass😉

Taffles rather enjoyed himself at kings dressage championships today being the usual show off he is! Got 72% and came 6th in a very competitive class where all of the scores were very close! Unfortunately Taff decided to jig instead of walk which lost us quite a few marks, but he felt awesome! He also thoroughly enjoyed his lap of honour and cuddles with Sarah at the end❤️

Taffles went to pontispool today for some cross country schooling and it was his first time xc schooling on grass since he injured his ligaments! He was absolutely amazing despite half of the course being fenced off and it being packed with some sort of camp going on! He felt amazing and jumped brilliantly! We're back at pontispool next weekend for his first ODE in a very long time, I can't wait!😆 then the weekend after that he has some dressage as he qualified for something last time he did a test because he's fabulous❤️

Taff's had a busy few days bless him!
Went to kings on Friday for a team eventers challenge. Our team did the 70-80cm and between the four of us we had 2 falls, one major saddle slip, a few refusals and a pole or two!😂 Taff had a refusal but that was another case of sack the jockey, I rode it terribly😁
Then took him back to kings today to do some dressage seeing as we've not done any for a while. The weather was lovely with heavy rain and strong winds! But Taff was still a legend and won prelim 4 (class of 27) with 70% and qualified for something (not 100% sure what!)
He's such a cool pony❤️

Taff went to the team eventers challenge at kings on Sunday to do a very big 65-75 which was more like a 75-80 and had an unlucky stop at the first xc jump which caught pretty much everyone out! Other than that he was amazing and flewwww😍

Took taffy to kings for his first show of the year and first time showjumping in several months and he was his usual legendary self getting 2nd in a very busy 2ft6!!❤️

Took Taff to ksec today to do ANOTHER dressage test and he was AWESOME (as always!) we did a pony club novice test, got 73% and came 1st!!! Think Taffy's turned into a dressage pony! X

Took taffy to badgworth today for my first ever BD and he was brilliant! Did prelim 13 and got 66% which got us a 1st place! Over the moon with that result! He's the best old man ever xx

took taffles to kings again yesterday for the team eventer's challenge and he was AWESOME. felt amazing, jumped amazing, HE IS AMAZING:D it was quite a long course so i thought it would kill him but he was absolutely fine with it! got a team 6th in the end woowoo:)

Took mr taff to kings yesterday for some combined training, did prelim 1 which was 70cm show jumping and got 67% and a nice clear to get 2nd place :D as always, taff needs to sack the jockey and hire a new one as i learned the test wrong and went wrong twice so he would've won had i not messed up! oops..... oh well he was awesome as per x
