A bit of an update. Second appointment with the new farrier this weekend, and the boys did amazing. They show him respect and he is gentle, but firm ( yes I have permission to post these Amish photos) and the building is coming along . It’s been crazy trying to build from ladders and staging , but he’s doing it, and I’m helping best I can from the inside upstairs, with a bit of dangling out the windows to grab stuff like windows, wood etc. I’m staining the trim , and the rest of the house will be stained when it’s a bit cooler . As for the old farm, we are going to be putting that back on the market , after we check it out, clean it up and get an estimate on any damages/ repairs. The animals and I are looking forward to cooler weather and will definitely be getting into the holiday spirit soon . Goal is still to be in by Thanksgiving… this camper living is getting old lol… oh yeah the camper will be up for sale as soon as possible. I’ll take photos when the time comes.
