Hi everyone, just to make you all aware, from the 1st January my grooming prices will be increasing.
This isn’t a decision I’ve taken lightly, but with rising costs it’s unfortunately necessary. I will be letting clients know their new rate on an individual basis.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and loyalty it really means a lot to me 🐶
I was asked to visit these guys Monday-Friday going forward a few months ago, it’s safe to say they’ve stole my heart ❤️

Everyone meet the newest member of my gang, the beautiful Tilley 🥰 she’s been with me a few months now and has settled into her walks so well. I took this picture today, it’s to beautiful not to share 🍁🍁🍁🍁 i also now have a 9.30am slot on my Monday-Friday walks if you know anyone who needs a morning walker 🐾
It’s a very sad day today, after 7 years of working for this lovely family I’ve had to say goodbye to Zippy as they are moving away. I first started working for them walking Copper (the cheese and tennis ball thief) he was one of my 1st clients, he was joined by his sister Zippy a few years later. Sadly we lost copper but he most definitely lived on in his sister with his beagle way’s and love for food. Walking won’t be the same without you zipzip the piggy, enjoy your new home 🐶🐶

Please please share. One of my friends pups was spooked on a walk on Thursday afternoon and hasn’t been seen since. Despite every effort they have had absolutely no sightings. Her owner hasn’t left the park since she was spooked and is desperate for any news.
Secrets of a Dog Walker
1. It's a lifestyle, not just a job. If you're in it for the money you've made a big mistake because a) you're never going to be rich, end of story; and b) you won't survive your first winter if that's your only motivation. We see these people come and go from time to time.
2. We talk to each other more than you might think. About the best walking boots, what clothing we are wearing for today's weather, our financial struggles, the traffic, dodgy men in the woods, fallen trees, etc. It's a lonely job but we have each other's backs from a distance.
3. We don't physically have eyes in the backs of our heads but we know so well the sound of every jingle of every ID tag, and every dog's individual footfall on the ground behind us, we may as well have.
4. We can't physically see round corners either, but we know so well each leading dog's body language in reaction to an oncoming person and/or dog that we may as well be able to.
5. We hear "Are they all yours?!" and "Wow you've got your hands full" at least twice a day, but we always smile and say "They keep me on my toes". Every. Single. Time.
6. It actually breaks our heart when a dog moves out of our area, and we thoroughly investigate our replacement for our own peace of mind, even if the client hasn't asked us to. Let's not even talk about when they pass away, we feel every bit of grief too, more than owners might think.
7. If you peel back a few layers of clothing (depending on the season) you will find bruises, scratches and scrapes covering the whole of our bodies. Don't bother asking where they came from, we have no idea.
8. If you see a dog walker looking vaguely presentable on a weekday, you should send help, something is not right.
9. We love our clients' dogs as we do our own and will sometimes lie awake at night worrying about their injuries, illnesses, and behaviour problems. We can't help it after spending so much time with them.
10. Despite the financial uncertainty, the harsh winters, the blood, sweat and tears, it really is the best job in the world!

So as some of you know I took a rare few days off at the beginning of this week for my sons graduation 🧑🏼🎓 I’m so proud and happy to announce that he passed with 1st class honours 🥰. We spent such a lovely time in Norwich celebrating with him and his housemates. Tomorrow I get to bring him back home ☺️

Thank you so much for your kind donations. I’ve spent today collecting donations for the pooches/cats in mersea for my very close friend Lisa Goldman who is organising the collection. My car was full by the end of the day. Lisa has been donated transport and all your kind donations will start their journey on Wednesday. 🇺🇦 
Very short notice BUT my 1st ever client was the most beautiful soul he was a Romanian rescue called CODY (Cody bear to me and his mumma) sadly he’s passed over to rainbow bridge and his mumma has since rescued another Romanian rescue from the same charity. She’s working closely with the rescues in Ukraine and has asked for the following that will be sent ASAP to the dog charity’s in the Ukraine. This is what they are asking for
Urgent pet donations:
- Dog & Cat food, wet and dry.
- Blankets, Beds, Towels, Cages
- Leads, collars, harnesses
- Puppy Pads
- Cat Litter
- Waterproof Ground Sheets
- Bandages
I’m seeing her Saturday to help label the donations so anything new/used can be donated to mine by 9am Saturday morning even if it’s just a pile of used towels, everything will be greatly appreciated. I have a box outside of the house you can leave donations in if I can’t get to the door, just lift the lid and place inside. If you want to donate money I’ll be going to Aldi Friday to purchase food for the cats/dogs (all receipts will be posted to my page) please even if it’s just a used collar or lead, pet bowl or towels absolutely ANYTHING will be great fully received ###
Client of the day 🥰 Everyone meet BONNY aka BonBon. She’s not a fan of walking and I often find her snuggled up somewhere WELLLLL today she had tucked herself up under a duvet with a pillow, her eyes show how happy she is to be going for a walk 🤣 to top it off it was a windy day and she kept loosing her ears 🐶🥰🤣
Well folks that’s a wrap 🙌🏼 last groom today before Christmas with the amazing Maisy Moo. Noodles came for Christmas fun to meet a fellow schnoodle and Keith joined in the fun. Christmas PJ’s are now on and it’s time to celebrate. Merry Christmas to all my amazing loyal customers and their fur babies. See you all next year 🥂 🌲

This weekend the salon was stripped and every item was deep cleaned inc the walls and ceiling. For those of you that don’t know, the hubby uses the salon at weekends as a gym and I was fed up with him moaning that it smelt like a wet dog 🤣 obviously I clean every day BUT it’s a damp environment and as you can imagine fur gets ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE and I mean everywhere 🤷🏽♀️. Smells lovely and fresh and hair free ATM.
It’s a wet dog kind of day out there today ☔️ 🤣🤣. on a serious note, what happened to summer this year 🙃🤷🏽♀️🐶🐶🐶
