December 2nd in downtown Knowlton at 1pm they will hold the annual lions club Christmas parade 🎉 come join us as we bring some ambassadors from the farm! A huge expansion from last year!! We hope to see you there 💞 come cheer us on and meet Sunshine, our first official rescue

December is right around the corner with 3 feet of mud and a miniscule layer of snow. Owning livestock is definitely a rollercoaster in the seasons. 2023 has proven to be a difficult and challenging year where we pushed through it all tougher and exhausted 😂 We are incredibly blessed with great friends and boarders 🙏🏼

If you would love to join the environment with your horse we currently have room for one indoor boarder. Here at Miltimore's Maple Hill Farm we work with horses natural way of living which includes group turnout, longer turnout periods and hay a volonté.

Blanketing services included, knowledgeable staff and experienced owners.

Grain not included but can be added for an additional price.

There is always something to be amazed and thankful for and that's results!!! Bandit's recovery journey has been absolutely spectacular on the weight gain department 🙏🏼

Bandit is an absolute sweetheart and needs time to go through the rehabilitation part of his journey before he's out of the woods but this is by far the best recovery I've witnessed here 💓

Here we are in October already as we plan to look into Calendars for 2024 we want to see how many of you would love to buy a calendar again this year?

All the proceeds go to the animals in need which includes cases like Dale, Winnie and Bandit. Some cases that we bring in are worse than others but sometimes we can't save them all 😔

Three weeks in and bandit is starting to get some good mass to him!

Bandit currently lives with a group of other geldings and a young stallion who all get along very well 💕

His rehab is slowly progressing to the point we can pet him while he's eating his breakfast and supper. One step at a time and he will come around.

Bandit has put on a significant amount of weight since he's been in our care.

After a week of TLC, a bath and good food bandit is well under way to his recovery.

We want to give a product review that has just blown us away in regards to efficiency!!

We used "Repousse Poil" from Herboristerie Animalière Valérie Lalonde and only had to apply this once for it to make a difference. Bandit had a patch of rain rot on his back with hair missing. We applied this product once after a bath and within a week there is a beautiful patch of new hair coming in!

This is a definite need for your equine pharmacy 🙏🏼

This!!! This is what we do. 12 years ago my husband gifted me Sunshine for Christmas. Abused, neglected and scared,Sunshine did not want to be touched. Patience and alot of love have gotten us here. Kelsey and I worked tirelessly for the benefit of Sunshine.
This year Kelsey brought Sunshine to the fair. I never thought that this once scared horse would have done the fair with such ease and grace.
Thank you all for your support, your encouraging words and financial help. When we sell calendars and hats this is what we accomplish, one horse, pony and yes pig at a time.

**Bandit Update**

Bandit had his vet visit today and here is what we know!

Bandit is OLD. He's definitely in his 20's. His golf ball sized bump on his leg is scar tissue and won't present any issues to him aside from a bit of a shorter stride. He's almost completely blind in his blue eye and he's missing a few teeth in the front.

We also know that bandit is super sensitive to flies so thankfully we were able to buy him a fly suit today to help him out 🙏🏼

Bandit had his teeth floated today and had a complete check over to make sure he's ok.

Here is to a happy retirement for bandit where he will live out the rest of his days in peace 🕊️

Bandit has been with us for over a week and here is a happy update 😍

Bandit has gone through quite a bit and it's not the beautiful side of life. We're currently treating bandits inflammation and body boo-boos with Herboristerie Animalière Valérie Lalonde products and we cannot thank her enough for her products. We're looking forward to his recovery!!

Bandit's first bath since he's been home ❤️ starting to slowly see his beautiful side. There's still a very thick brick wall that he puts up to protect himself but we will work on that. He's very skiddish with people and he's not easily approachable..

Some of the swelling has come down and we're taking one day at a time to fix him up. Mentally and physically..

He's eating well and slowly trying to settle in ❤️
