Spay your female dogs and neuter your male dogs so we can get the over population of dogs under control in Utila. Our shelter is full. It is your responsibility as a loving and caring dog owner to spay or neuter your dogs.

Kiki's did a fabulous job helping at the salon in Indiana and attending All American Grooming Show in Chicago! Plus we had some fun outings as well. She's back to work next week caring for the pups of Utila. I'm very proud of her for going above and beyond to attend the grooming conference and being part of Gordon's Grooming salon in the US!

Do you know many Tuk Tuk drivers are happy to transport dogs for grooming? Elmer Funes- #31 - is one wonderful example! He regularly takes dogs to and from their appointments at Gordon's. His WhatsApp is 8850-8301. Here is Elmer with Mylo!

We need towels!! They don't need to be anywhere near this nice, just need some life left in them! If you're having your dog groomed we will pay you 25 lempira off the cost of the groom for bath or beach size towels. We will also pay 25 lempira for 2 hand towels. We don't need super giant towels please.

We had a great Pet Tech CPR and First Aid class today!! Thanks so much to those who took the time out of their day to attend! I will be scheduling another class soon, let me know if you'd like to attend and I will start coming up with a schedule!.

We've created a new event - July 6th I will be offering a Pet Tech CPR & First Aid class at 9:30 am. Here's the registration link https://pettech.net/classes/pet-tech-cpr-and-first-aid-2098/

Would you know what to do if your pet had an emergency? This class covers CPR, first aid, rescue breathing and more!

The class is 2000 lempira or $80 and includes a booklet, certificate and light lunch and refreshments. The class is about 4 hours long. Half the cost is required as a deposit with registration to hold your spot, once registered I will send the info about how to do this, cash, Honduran bank transfer, Venmo or PayPal.

Very busy day today!! We groomed some cute and amazing dogs! We're very happy to have KiKis on board, she attended grooming school in Guatemala. She is learning more about grooming and will be a big assist to the salon here! She also speaks Spanish, and that will also be helpful. Be sure to message here or on Whatsapp 3303-8936, to schedule. We are currently grooming mostly on Wednesdays. Availability will expand once Kiki's trained!

Hey everyone!! I wanted to remind everyone I told all regular customers I was going to be away in January and February. I encouraged people to book in advance. I've also posted on my website the days I'm working (www.gordonsdoggrooming.com.) I have exciting news! This fall when I'm away a excellent groomer friend will visit and stay at my house and groom dogs at the end of sept and beginning of oct (it will be important to book ahead of time.) I am scheduling for March when I return. Pictures are from dogs in Chile and Argentina.

Shout out to The Wine Attic! We had a great bite after work today! The scotch eggs were amazing! (Hard boiled eggs wrapped in sausage and breading coating, served with a sauce.). Highly recommend checking out this new lovely establishment!
