So I had to have William put to sleep yesterday. He couldn't use his right front leg anymore and the tumour was getting bigger by the day. He was still fighting and full of character but watching him struggle became to much. He couldn't use his wheel anymore which he love and getting into his tunnel became difficult as he couldn't lift his leg to get into it so was using his chin to pull himself in. Very difficult time as sitting in his blanket cuddled in you wouldn't think there was anything wrong. But I knew the only thing ahead of him was more pain and missing the things he loved to do.
He was such a strong little man full of character. The hardest thing was looking at him looking at me with such love knowing what I was going to do, knowing it was our last cuddled. I just hope he knows why I did what I did and that his in heaven running like crazy on his wheel.
William you stole a piece of my heart with your funny ways , one eye and sweet chirps of happiness ( normally to impress the ladles) there'll never be another William
