~ Although we are very much a rescue for older dogs (aged seven-plus) ourselves, we do occasionally add a younger dog to our website and on this occasion, it's Lexi:

Lexi is only five, but she has had a very sad time lately as her older, best friend, Rosie, passed away 💔. Before that, their human had passed away. Lexi is currently spending her weekdays in boarding kennels and is very much in need of a special person(s) to welcome her into their heart and home. If you're not that person, please would you help spread the word for Lexi? Perhaps you know someone wonderful who is looking to adopt a slightly younger dog?

Lexi's rescue tells us she has the gentlest of natures and is a very good girl, who walks nicely on the lead, travels well in the car and is very soppy. She'd love a human to snuggle up on a forever sofa with, pretty please! ✨

Lexi has lived with children before and she could live with older, dog-friendly children. She could possibly live with another, suitable dog again, having lived with Rosie and calmly ignoring other dogs when out on walks. Edited to add: we've checked with Lexi's rescue and she used to live with a cat and ignores the resident cat at the kennels, so there's the possibility she could live with a dog-savvy cat in her new home.
