Happy Veteran's Day to human and canine soldiers alike. Thank you to those who have served, are currently serving and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you to those who go fight for our country overseas and to those who are stateside supporting every aspect of what is meant to be an American.

And a big thank you to my husband, who is active duty! Many might not know that fact, but I am a Military Spouse. So also, thank you to all of the spouses, children and family who have supported their Military family member in any stage of their career.

Pet pro close out!

We had soo much fun! We learned lots of things, bought new goodies and watched some grooming competitions! We cannot wait to implement the information that we learned this weekend into not only how we groom your pups, but how we operate 🥳

Today is a day for us groomers 👐

Grooming is not an easy job. Yes, we groomers love dogs and it is our passion. However, any job working with animals is not easy. Dogs can bite, p**p, bark, fight for grooming, etc. Grooming is an art, but our canvas is constantly moving 🤣

Appreciate your groomer! If they say they couldn't finish a task of grooming due to your dog's behavior or stress, please believe them and know they're doing it for the comfort of your pup. If the groom isn't perfect, when it usually is, we are human, we have off days as well. Appreciate your groomer!

What a perfect day to announce this: two of my girls and I will be away for the weekend getting our learn on! As I always say, continued education is always our priority and we are excited to be going to .s.petproclassic this weekend!!

With that being said, messaging and scheduling will be a bit slower since I will be in seminars and such. 🐶

WE are Chelsea's Canine Creations! This is my dream team. ❤️
These are the girls that are out on the road pampering your pups every day. Without them, we wouldn't be able to grow and groom more doggos. They love your dogs like they love their own. When y'all lose a pet, they lose a beloved client. Some pups see them every 4-12 weeks for years or their entire lives. They're a huge part of your dogs world. Next time you see them, make sure you tell them thank you, tell them you appreciate them!

I am three days late, but I just hit 4 years of officially being a business owner 😱

Since we have a lot of new followers, let me reintroduce myself. Hi 👋 . My name is Chelsea. I started Chelsea's Canine Creations 4 years ago due to being unhappy with my work environments and the unsurity of my husband's military career.

I began my career via housecall; going into people's home and grooming their dogs inside, or outside if weather permitted. I started during the pandemic, not knowing if this was actually going to work or not. Turned out, there was a huge need for housecall, and business took off. Some were hesitant due to having a complete stranger coming into their home to groom their dog, but that was very few at the time. The goal was always to go fully mobile with a mobile grooming van. After a year of housecall, I applied on my first van. Due to covid causing all of the vehicle and production setbacks, it took 11 months to receive my first van. I continued to dive head first into business ownership and mobile grooming. After 7 months of being by myself in that unit, I hired my first employee. Business kept up, and I unfortunately am not one to settle. I kept my eye on other vans just in case a great opportunity popped up. So 7 months after hiring, I purchased my second van. Three weeks later, I hired my second groomer, then just about two months after that, my third.

Business ownership is not easy! However, I have such a phenomenal team and wonderful clientele that make it soo much easier. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey!

Also, I guess my timing for expansion is every 7 months because we have some things brewing over here and it's been 7 since we brought home Bubbles. Stay tuned to see the exciting news ❤️❤️

Of course, I made it spooky. Tis the season!

However, I've said it before, but continued education, safety and your pet's care are some of our highest concerns. I've been eyeing joining the TPPGA for a few months now and finally did it. We, here at Chelsea's Canine Creations, strive to always be bettering ourselves to stay up to date on all of our policies and procedures, handling techniques, products, etc. We only want the best for our pup clients ❤️

In the words of TPPGA and the reason I chose to join, they are here to "Elevate pet grooming standards in Texas through professionalism, education, and ethical practices while promoting a higher standard of care, safety, and sanitation within the Texas Pet Grooming Industry."
