To say I’m addicted to shoes is an understatement |

When it comes to high heels, the funkiest, craziest patterns are my 'go-to'. However, I want my everyday footwear to be comfortable, functional, and obviously stylish too. There’s a in my closet for that!

Chloe has big dog energy so there's no such thing as spending a rainy day inside curled up on the couch doing nothing, which means we need to get outside - rain or shine! I love to take the dogs on a forest hike or explore new trails and has seriously changed the game for me. I honestly don't know how I ever functioned before them. I can confidently walk the dogs on those Raincouver days knowing that my feet and socks will stay dry and I won't be miserable by the end of it. In fact, I now look forward to rainy day walks! There's typically less people out as well, which is a bonus for us, as Chloe tends to be reactive towards other dogs when she's leashed and we cross paths. Rainy day walks for the win.

Jones Lake

This week we went on a little camping adventure. Our plan was to head to Ross Lake but didn’t realize the road was still washed out from the floods (2 years ago) until we were almost out of cell service 🤦🏻‍♀️ So we had to pivot and find an alternate spot….quickly. We decided to give Jones Lake a try.

It was mid afternoon when we arrived and finding a camp site turned out to be trickier than anticipated. But we ended up with a beach spot that allowed us to launch the boats and with the best view of the mountains 🏔️

We had the “banana boat” in tow up the FSR so we were able to do some fishing. Over the two days we caught a bunch of small trout 🎣 and enjoyed the float.

We recently purchased a Trekway SUV tent so we were excited to give that a try and were thoroughly impressed. We had a visitor 🐻 on the first night though….we were okay but the has some scars

Overall it was a good trip and we made some memories. It’s Friday and the start of a long weekend so we will probably get out on the big boat for a few days. What plans do you have for the weekend?
