The message from her:
"I am looking to rehome my dogs. I have cancer. It’s treatable, but long-term. I have two neutered male Silks. Muggles (black) was bred by Doc Baldwin from Pekoe and Enzo. He was born August 6, 2015 (he is littermates with Ada and Suede). Scout (silver/white) was bred by Lili Capetti from Impanema and Enzo. He was born November 5, 2018. They are both healthy and fully house trained. They are each about 14 pounds. I feed them Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach for Small Dogs and they have no problems eating. Previously Muggles would throw up once in a while on other foods. Before I got sick, they were adventurous dogs, camping, hiking, and boating. I would prefer that they be rehomed together since they are so bonded, but if that’s not possible I’ll consider separate homes. I’m not looking for any money. I want them to be safe and taken care of within our Silk community. I am not able to travel at all so someone would have to come get them in Massachusetts."

Happy birthday to our wonderful little girl, Prim!! She lights up our lives with her joy, enthusiasm, loyalty and determination. She is 1000% devoted to her favorite person (my son), and loves being a mama dog and a fun-loving woods pupper. Here's to another great year with this amazing girl!

The Beautiful Litter is 6 weeks old, and on the move! With the weather being warmer, we've taken the opportunity to maximize our time outside. Potty learning is going swimmingly (Belle stood by the door and "asked" to go out yesterday, and when let out, went right away!), and big sisters Ori and Lucy are happy to show the new little ones all the ropes. Even with all the activity, they are always ready for a cuddle back on my lap.

Since they've been born, Lucy (formerly known as Bernie's Mittens) has been VERY curious about the puppies - in the beginning Prim wouldn't let her near them, so she just sat at a reasonable distance and looked at them like, "YOU ARE SO CUTE AND I LOVE YOU". Now as they are getting older, Prim doesn't. mind Lu coming to check on them and "babysit". Today I got a great video of the puppies offering "play" behavior to Lucy.

The Beautiful Litter is one month old today! They are growing in leaps and bounds - and leaping and bounding all over their playpen! Gaston (the black boy) has a playful spirit and loves to pounce on his sister and "get" her tail, but is happy to cuddle when it's time for a nap (favorite spot: what else but the giant lambie!). Belle (the sable girl) is sweet and gentle. She loves to be held but never turns down a romp or a wrestle! Both of them run to the gate, tails wagging when I came near - and when I sit down in the room to post some pictures, happily snuggle by my side and fall asleep.

The puppies this week. Their eyes opened Wednesday and they are beginning to get up on their legs some. Both love the early scent introduction. So far favorite/most interesting scents include banana, chicken, grass/moss, and Penny the cat.

We are happy to announce the birth of The Beautiful Litter, Belle (a sable girl) and Gaston (a black boy with four white paws) on Saturday afternoon. This litter is out of Prim and Giovanni. Belle weighed nearly 8 ounces, and Gaston was 5.8 ounces. Both puppies and mama are doing well!
