Right now I just have these two sweet little babies left!

They’re both going to make excellent companions for the family or weekend warrior!

The red Merle is super goofy, and sweet! He loves attention and to be the life of the party.

The red tri girl is a little more laid back, and apprehensive at first but still as sweet and playful as can be!

I may possibly have another red tri girl available - or blue Merle girl depending on show picks at 8 weeks.

They’re AKC/ASCA limited registration. Parents both fully health tested.

They have been regularly dewormed, will see the vet for first vaccines and exam on May 2nd, plus microchipped.

They can go home around May 4th.

I’m located in Arizona but I will be in New Mexico in May, and Oklahoma end of June.

Oh how I love my terriers 💗 Pistol is entered for her first show in May!

Dogs are dogs. They're not fur babies. They're not children. They're dogs.

That doesn't mean I don't love my dogs. It doesn't mean you can't call them your "kids" or "fur children." But for their sake, respect that they are dogs. Treat them well, but treat them as they should be.

People humanizing dogs is actually what's getting a lot of them put down, rehomed, dumped, and loaded with behavioral issues.

The best way to honor and love your dog is to respect the fact that they are different from us. That's part of what makes them so amazing!!

Bringing home a new dog and giving it whatever it wants, whenever it wants, is not setting them up for success. It may feel good to "spoil" them. I get it, but what you're actually doing is creating a brat.

I hear this often: "My dog bit our friend on the couch because he thinks the couch is his." OK, who let them think that? The dog didn't just waltz in and claim your couch. The dog wasn't given boundaries to begin with. I let my dogs on the couch, but if I tell them to get off and go to their bed, they will without hesitation. They've earned that privilege based on respect, trust, and understanding.

If you want to "spoil" your dog, do it by setting them up for success. Exercise them, give them boundaries, give them a job, and give them what they actually need instead of the latest squeaky toy. The time you spend playing with your dog means more than the toy itself.

Love your dog. Cherish your dog. Respect your dog, but for the love of the dog, TREAT THEM LIKE A DOG.

(And before anyone wants to say something silly...My dogs are my family. They literally signed my marriage certificate, but they also have boundaries. Just like any healthy family should!)

These guys should be on the laid back side as far as Aussies go, but still an Aussie! I expect biddable, thoughtful dogs with low to medium drive.

Looking ahead at the forecast for the next week- please pay attention to your pets so that they do not experience heat stroke!
The following tips can help reduce your pet's chance of getting heat stroke:

1. Plan outdoor activities ahead of time
Monitor the daily forecast, heat index, temperatures both inside buildings and outside the home, and the temperatures inside vehicles. If you have second thoughts about whether you should bring your animal outside, always play it safe and keep them inside.

2. Different pets have individual temperature needs
The heat affects pets differently. It’s important to remember that animals come in a variety of breeds, shapes, sizes, and of course, fur. Not only do you need to be wary of temperature levels, but you must also know which conditions work best for your pet's breed and individual needs. Here are some important heat-related facts:

~Darker-coated animals absorb more heat than those with lighter coats.
~ Animals with double coats have a natural layer of insulation to protect them against heat.
~Animals with matted double coats struggle to stay cool. Do not cut the mats away or shave their coat; instead, comb them out as much as possible.
~ Single-coated animals can be shaved to be more comfortable.

3. Be proactive
**Using fans, misters, air conditioning, etc.
** Hot pavement could be potentially painful for your pets. As a rule of thumb, if the pavement is too hot for your hand, it's definitely too hot for their paw pads.

If you have any concerns about your pet's health or think they may be experiencing heat stroke, please call the clinic at (605) 223-2562.
