One of our 50+ year old Duratii is getting ready to bloom. This species is a true work of art. Want to see it in person? has scored a few. Don’t be intimidated by their age. These plants come from the dry forests of Bolivia. Duratii can handle a drought (or a caretaker traveling) every now and then. They do amazing indoors and are easy to care for.

Fuzzy from afar but mean if you get too close. Once cut the Cactus dries out to reveal a wooden interior structure.

Pictured: Left is a small section of the sustainably farmed dried Cholla we use for our hangers, fixtures, etc.
