Hi everybody! I'd like to announce that The Floof Fairy will be closing at the end of April. We are making some big changes. I'm excited for the adventure but many tears have been shed, as well.

I feel very blessed to have been entrusted with the care of your floofs for the past couple of years. Each and every one of them have been a joy! And I want to say thank you on their behalf too. Thank you for investing in their care while you're away. It has done my heart good to walk into these loving homes on a regular basis. I will miss all of my Floof Families!

This weekend I am wrapping up my last bookings and having a moving sale. Please stop by if you'd like to say farewell or if you want to peruse what we're selling. Pretty much everything needs to go.

Got a pup that needs some exercise? Work all day and the pup needs play? I'm here! I'm ready to help! 🏃‍♀️

Dog walking! I have three spots open for 30 minute daily walks in the KV area. I walk rain or shine...or snow!

11:00am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm

I'm looking for families who can commit to booking at least three weekdays per week. An hour long walk can be accommodated if you get your request in soon.

Happy doodle sighting. Not only dog walking but dog rolling!!! 🐶

Blep: (noun) A portion of the tongue of a cat (or other creature) that protrudes slightly from the mouth. This can occur when your kitty has had their cleaning session interrupted or, more commonly, when they are very relaxed. The sweet Tilly pictured here demonstrates a cozy napping blep.

It’s time for Floof-ucation Friday! On Fridays, I will attempt to teach you something Floof related. Our topic today: TOE-FEATHERS!

Toe-feathers: (noun) The fur that protrudes from between the toes of a floof. Varying lengths exist but all are appreciated and admired. Some choose a clean and tidy look, some opt for au naturel. Also known as ”bean sprouts”, “toe spears”, etc.

Hello neighbours! We’ve got some sun today and I can see a bit of my lawn now. Progress!
This also means that it’s time to start booking your kitty services for the spring and summer. Did you know you can get everything ready ahead of time before you have your vacation dates? Hi, everybody! My name is Demery, Dem for short. I am The Floof Fairy! What is a “floof”? Well, let me tell you my favorite definition.

floof (noun): any abundantly or ridiculously fluffy creature

I am a big fan of floofs, I have three at home! I have included the floofiest of them all in my logo. That is sweet Piper, my lovely 4 year old calico. We also have 9 year old Lily, a delightful happy yorkie/shihtzu/pug who often waltzes into the hearts of everyone she meets with her constant butt wiggles and signature underbite. And we have Rumi, the newest of the trio, who is just under two years old and has almost mastered the art of giving the best border collie hugs without torpedo-ing everyone off their feet.

Now a little about me. I will admit it was hard to find some recent pictures of myself without a cat obscuring half of my face or some sort of goofy shenanigans taking place. But here I am! I’ve lived in NB for almost 3 years in Quispamsis. I truly love it. The proximity to the water and the forest has done wonders for me!

I love animals and I feel like I have a very special place in my heart for them. I have always enjoyed pet sitting simply for the fact that I get to hang out and tend to yet another creature! It has never been a completely unselfish endeavor, I care for them well and they fill me with joy! What I noticed particularly in the area I live is the constant request for pet sitters and dog walkers on many local facebook groups and sites. So I’m launching into this and infusing my experience as a pet owner into what I offer! I hope to put my clients at ease knowing that I am meticulous about listening to their needs and putting my intuition to work when caring for their loved ones.
