1 of 7 senior small dogs who were brought to City of San Bernardino Animal Services on November 8 2023 after their owner died. I am posting each dog individually, to give them all a better chance of being adopted or rescued.

Thanksgiving Sleepover Update! 🍂 So far, thirty (30) of our amazing dogs have already found wonderful humans to spend the Holiday weekend with - including our friends Myrtle, Buffy, Sabrina, Meatball, Kilo, Artie, Blu, and Twiggy!

This innovative program is one of our absolute favorites and is designed with the belief that no one (two or four legs) should ever have to spend the Holidays alone.

🐾 As a reminder, Thanksgiving Sleepover pickups continue today until 6:00 pm.

He is a 14 week old Terrier Mix that we rescued from after his mom Susie Soo was put on the euth list due to a broken leg. He is ready for his forever home
- Sheldon is a curious, independent, spunky little boy.
He's the first to venture from the pack and say hello, but will always check back in to give kisses. A lover of toys and belly rubs, his favorite pastime is playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with dogs. He's getting the hang of p*e pads and sleeps through the night in his kennel.

We have over 50 puppies in our care for i? i 20 of those becoming available this weekend - that's 20 amazing homes we need to find! There really is no excuse to buy a puppy when there are so many of all different shapes and sizes waiting for you at the shelter. Starting off with our F litter, these little angel travelled down from Geraldton at just 6 weeks old. They were surrendered without their Mum and have spent the last 2 weeks in foster homes, growing, learning and getting ready for their forever homes
They are Jack Russell × Shar Pei, we think they
will be small to medium sized (there's a few different shapes and sizes in the litter) They have the cheekiness of a Jack Russel with rolls of a Shar Pei - utterly cute but will need plenty of enrichment, training and proper socialisation as they grow and for the rest of their life!

Ridge Point High School made us a part of their Health and Wellness Club. The students enjoyed snuggling puppies and learning about how they can volunteer for our new spay and neuter program beginning in January!

Our beautiful girl has had a litter of 6 gorgeous Jack Russell puppies, 4 girls and 2 boys. Mixture of tri coloured and Black and Tan. (1 Girl remaining)

Mum is Black and Tan Jack Russell, and Dad is miniature tri coloured Jack Russell, both available on viewing. Both have a lovely temperament, amazing around children. Both perfect family dogs for us(both can be seen in photos)

Puppies will be available from 01/10/2023, they will be microchipped/vet checked/wormed before leaving for their forever homes and will come with a goody bag, scented blanket and bag of current food they’ll be started on

I’m so angry right now I can’t see straight and I’m so sick of these backyard breeders who have no concerns whatsoever for the animals they are breeding and neglecting 😡 . We are rushing the remaining two puppies to the vet. One of them just passed away on transport.🥹

A breeder brought the babies to Banfield and said the momma dog ran off and left her babies.
Breeder signed babies over to Banfield. Banfield called Rescue to help.

I am working a relief shift at a local banfield and these 3 puppies just came in horrible conditions. This woman has no business raising dogs. Body temps and sugar too low to read. Eyes crusted shut with discharge it’s so sad. Do you guys have any room. They look like poodle yorki mix maybe 4 weeks old
There are 3 trying to keep each other warm.
They said mom “ran away” we tried to feed they are too cold and weak.
Having black diarrhea

Their deadline is (today), but we are working on trying to get them secured.

Mina came into the shelter as a stray on "bite quarantine" after what sounds like a man kicked her 🥺 now she and her babies are being euthanized due to a positive distemper test, which is almost undoubtedly a false positive. Her numbers are extremely low and the report itself states this may be due to a live vaccine. This is a common occurrence and all dogs we've pulled under these circumstances have tested negative a week later.

This family needs a chance to get out! We will need donations so we can assist them. Please help 💞🤞

Introducing the 1st of the newest Kids on the block meet Kevin.

This dude has won so many hearts yet still hasn't found himself a home.

Kevin is the Happiest comedic little dude. He loves a walk, play and a wrestle.

Kevin was dumped at Taree Pound with 4 other siblings. They are a cross bull terrier. They around roughly 5mnths old But not too sure.

Kevin loves his toys, kongs and enrichment mats. He would love an active home. Kids would be okay but watch those puppy teeths he gets a bit excited. Kevin loves to play with other dogs and has met quite the variety. He does get a little vocal to begin but after meeting them he settles quickly.

He has met Cats in a controlled situation but not open. Close and slow introductions should be okay.
