The first official cake of Luna’s Barking Mad Bakery went down a treat!

This is a peanut butter and carrot cake with fat free greek yoghurt frosting.

Our Loops has a very delicate stomach, so I had to modify a recipe I found online. A lot of “dog friendly recipes” still include types of flour that are definitely not dog friendly. I use wholewheat flour which is recommended for them, but makes the cakes a bit more difficult to bind together, but I’m going to keep experimenting to get the desired end result!

Our not so little namesake is 1 today!! 🥳🥳Plenty of treats all round and pictures of her birthday cake will be up later,...

Hi all! I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA - swipe to see why 🙈my little boy surprised us all and just couldn’t wait to be born!

Some of you will know that I set Luna’s bakery up as a way to earn some money while on maternity leave, in the hope that I will drum up enough interest to eventually turn this into my full time job that I can balance whilst being a stay at home mum. I had planned to do more with the page but Taron had other plans for me!

He’s a month old nearly now (where does time go!) so I’m going to gradually start baking over the next week and start advertising. I’ve had a couple of messages about orders, so I will get back to everyone ASAP.

This is our (not so) little namesake, Luna! She is our 9 month old Weimaraner and she will be personally approving all recipes as we start rolling out our products.

Having a dog myself, particularly one that is known for having a rather sensitive tummy, you can be assured I'll only be using the best quality products and I'll be catering best I can for those dogs that struggle with gluten / wheat, like our Loops!

We're a brand new, home based, healthy dog treat company, located in Heswall, Wirral.

Baking anything from cakes, to cookies, to cake pops, to donuts, we will aim to cater to your wants and needs best we can, using only the healthiest and best ingredients for your 4 legged friend, because we all know they deserve the best!

Registered with Trading Standards and qualified in Level 2 Food Hygiene, you can be assured we take our business seriously.
