Sometimes we feel so helpless that we hold on to things we are better off letting go of. Letting go after all is not easy.
Hold on to that person when you find yourself making a better version of yourself. Good relationships should respect each other. Usually, relationships inspire you to change your ways, but it can either be good or bad. Also, the change must come from within you, and you have to own it. Let go of that person you can’t live without. Because you can. There’s an Arabic proverb that goes; I’m not searching for my other half because I’m not a half.

Hold on to him or her if he or she is someone you can talk to. Hold on if he or she is someone who listens. Sometimes we only need to be heard to feel better and figure things out.

Hold on to that someone who amuses you, someone you want to know. Someone you find interesting. Look for genuine attraction. It won’t be enough, but the relationship won’t work without it. Let go of a blamer. Time is of great significance. Blamer is everywhere; please do not spend a minute on them. Remember, blamers won't accept their own mistakes.

Be with someone who wants to hear you.
Let go of that person who just won’t shut up.
