This is Spade. I’m really unsure how he’s still available for adoption. He’s nearly a perfect kitten. He’s playful, affectionate and social. He makes blanket biscuits, watches TV with you and snuggles 🥰. He’s neutered, snap tested, vaccinated against rabies and is microchipped. Sage Boy has a meet & greet at 4:30 🤞 he’s a match. He’s come a long way from the hissy spitting older feral kitten I trapped searching for scraps at a local restaurant downtown trying to survive with his family. ❤️🐾

They are stunning 😍 to look at but not touch. They are super playful, curious and explorative but human selective. LJ the 🐈‍⬛ accepts pets he just needs to be reminded he was tamed and quit feeding his brothers feral energy. 😜
They are available for adoption but I can’t stress enough they are NOT lap cats, they won’t let you hold them and you’ll be lucky to pet them. They could always be this way or they could come around I’m not sure of their future. I do know they will actively engage in playtime and are food motivated, churus for the win!

Now that we’ve shared the kitties who need homes for the holidays Id like to share Sammy. Unfortunately he’ll be on treatment for FIP this Christmas. His gift 🎁 is LIFE and we wouldn’t have it any other way. If you are unable to donate please like or share. ❤️‍🩹

Sammy was adopted a few months ago through Felicia’s Feline Foster. He started showing signs of FIP yesterday (12/8) so we got him into the vet right away today. Sadly, the vet confirmed Sammy has wet FIP and recommend a new market treatment which is costly OR euthanasia. The adopters were unable ...

🌈 Mel B. Rescue is so hard. I’ll say it over and over again. & no we are not numb to loss. A perfectly healthy, happy and playful kitten lost post spay likely due to genetics. She was the spunkist runt. She loved everyone and everything. Humans failed her. Spay & Neuter your pets!!! If you feed them, they are yours. Period. Fix them. I’m sobbing, my foster is sobbing the clinic is sobbing. All I can offer is a memorial box, pathetic right? It’s not fair, we shouldn’t have to experience these losses. Thank you Denise Wright for sponsoring her memorial 🩶
