I believe in groundwork, however you gotta get on and ride out the little stuff sometimes. Hell sometimes you gotta ride out the bronc stuff.

Most of the time though a little bit of groundwork goes a long way before you get on. Lenny is finding his speed and a little bolty. A good lunge session, meaning not just running but engaged, I.E. lunging with purpose does a lot of good for him.

He gets to run, and when he says I’m done he gets to run a little more. He learned direction changes, how to yield, how to pick up his shoulder and more all while lunging.

Holding on
