May said I was on fire today, and after two tests I felt it; it was hot 🔥😎

Riding British Dressage - Quest Club as always for team ‘Gaits of Hell’ (inspired by my very own..) we trotted down the centre line. May thinking about keeping her damn wiggly legs still, while I focused on keeping a forward momentum and the absa-bloody-loutely terrifying banner hiding in the top left corner 😎

Sometimes I’m prone to getting a little curled up behind the vertical, but today we did lots of stretchy trot in the warm up to get me seeking the bit, before May picked up the reins for some halt-trot transitions to get me thinking forwards. This is a little different to her usual warm up plans which mostly just consist of trying not to crash and/or have a panic attack… perhaps she is finally taking these things seriously? 🧐

She said she was very pleased that in the majority of the pics my poll is the highest point (excluding of course my epic 20m stretchy circle 😎) however of course if you’re asking me that was just so I could keep a closer eye on that banner 🫣

I must also say thank you to some lovely human friends who lent us some vital bits of equipment. May also promises to also sort out her matchy matchy game soon… if I could internet shop I would 🤪

I am now reunited with my pony friends after a nice wash down and trip home in my air conditioned lorry (just for me of course - the humans had to sweat it out in the cab!) and so will say good night. Tomorrow we are taming my ‘feral’ canter apparently, so I need a rest!)

Hello all, Banksy here.

Today we had a lovely lesson with Cyan, an Enlightened Equitation instructor. May wants to improve her balance and effectiveness in the saddle, something I can most definitely get behind… She can be a bit wobbly 😎

Afterwards, she spent far too long faffing about photographing my hooves (she’s obsesssed - apparently I’ve got the biggest frogs she’s ever seen 😍)

I told her not to bother and that I could get all 4 in one photo, but I don’t think she was too impressed? Apparently I was supposed to stay nice and clean for team quest tomorrow 🧐

Banksy here, feeling fabulous after a full body mot this week 😎

May is perpetually paranoid that I’m moments away from some sort of disease or injury, so such weeks occur from time to time… I don’t complain.

My teeth, body and hooves are all functioning as they should, so a summer of adventures can commence… yay 😍😍

Edna here, last week a new friend arrived in our paddock but he is quite shy. Daphne and I put on our friendliest faces and went to say hello but he ran away, can’t imagine why? I’m sure he will come around to our irresistible charm… 😳🧐

It’s been a long week, but Saturdays are stretchy polework and massage days… I like those 😎

May spent lots of time telling me to engage my core and lift my back…. Cheeky! Think I could advise her to try something similar, wobbles all over the place she does 🤭🤨

All was forgiven during the belly lifts turned tummy tickles, just like a giant Labrador me!! 🐶🐴

I thought I heard someone shouting BEAR last night, how terrifying. “Beaaaaar, Beaaaar Beaar” all night. I tried to warn May when she fetched me in to work, but she told me I was being daft.

It all came to a head as she asked me to walk over some poles before our ride. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted it, the Bear.

Short, stubby legs, fluffy woollen coat. Not as vicious as I thought it should look? “BAA” it said, and I ran.

May says my new friend is a sheep. I’m watching her closely 🧐🫣

I was a Fell with a very important job today, trotting down the centre line for our British Dressage - Quest Club team 'Gaits of Hell' (Name inspired by my canter of course😎)

We placed third in our individual test, and May mentioned that we may be suffering from 'third-itis' as it was a repeat of the previous weekend's result. I personally think it's one of the best 'itis's I've experienced, and our long suffering vet has diagnosed me with a few 🤪🤒

Anyway, she was wrong and our team took the top spot! 🥳 The greatest news of all however came as we arrived home and realised that May had left her helmet at the venue.. day off for me tomorrow, result! 👍😅

Hello I’m Edna, I’m two, and I’m fast. I eat fast, think fast, and move fast… it’s my favourite speed for every occasion 🐎💨

On Monday, I moved to my new paddock with lots of grass. May said it’s to help me grow to a nice 14.2hh so that she can sit on me and go fast too; apparently Banksy only likes going slowly 🧐

Now then, evening all. My name’s Banks and I’m a Fell pony with a monkey on my back (literally - her name is May and she keeps asking me to do crazy things like leg yield and sharing my paddock with the dangerous mares 🧐😧)

She’s set me up this page as apparently me’n the rest of the herd were clogging up her newsfeed (rude!) I hope you’ll enjoy following our adventures together 😄
