Help us wish Chris a very happy birthday today!

As the owner of Idaho Elite K-9 he makes this company go round and works so hard everyday. He has trained with hundreds of clients though the years and is always focused on the success of those who trust him with their dog training needs. If you know Chris you know he has one of the biggest hearts of anyone you will ever meet and he is one hell of a dog trainer too!

Today he had a full day on the schedule of K-9 training but we took a quick break this morning to bring in breakfast and tell him Happy Birthday!

Did you know . . . our logo was created with this photo of Tango, Chris’s K-9 who passed away last year? It is one of our favorite photos of him. So his face literally shines on our building and in everything we do for the world to see.

We have been working to get some special memorial pieces to have displayed in the lobby and the first one arrived today. It turned out beautifully! It is a crystal cube with a 3-D etching of Tango, that sits on a light base that we can change the color of. The amount of detail that they were able to capture in the photo even down to his fur is impressive and so realistic, it truly looks just like him.

We all miss Tango so much. Things definitely aren’t the same without him here. He was the reason and inspiration for why and how Idaho Elite K-9 was founded. We carry him with us in all we do everyday and in the way that we show up for the clients who entrust us with their training needs everyday.

Tango lit up our lives and we will keep this light lit in his honor everyday. Working with him as a partner, loving him, and having him for the time we did completely changed our families life.

K-9 Tango will always be a legend and a hero for our family. We loved him deeply and are so grateful we get to share his memory with everyone who enters at Idaho Elite K-9.

Keep on shining Tango, we miss you.

Shhh. . . Don’t tell anybody . . . but we snuck away from work for a while tonight after closing and ran straight next door to our super cool neighbors at thedrop208pbclub for a little family time!

We absolutely LOVE having The Drop 208 Pickleball Club, right next door to us Idaho Elite K-9. They have such an awesome place to play pickleball! They are amazing at explaining how to play if you have never played before too.

We spend alot of time at the facility as a family working on things and caring for the dogs in our care and it is so nice for the kids to be able to go run around and play pickleball to get some energy out sometimes.

It really was the perfect place to spend some time as a family for our family night tonight! Fun fact: We carve out time every Thursday night to do something as a family and this was the perfect activity tonight.

If you love pickleball or are interested in learning how to play, this is the perfect place, with the most amazing people running it! We are so grateful for the fun family night tonight.

If you guys haven’t been yet we definitely think you all should check it out!

🎉 Congratulations to both Rosanna & Trey on completing our Elite Platinum Training Program this morning! Last week they also passed their AKC Canine Good Citizen & this morning they also passed their Advanced Canine Good Citizen evaluation as well. They have been working hard together on what they have learned over the last several weeks.

They will now continue working towards passing their service dog evaluation. Rosanna & Trey make a fantastic team and we are so excited to watch what they accomplish together.

How many times have you said to yourself that you wished you could take your your favorite furry companion more places with you but you just wish they had a little more obedience training?

Idaho Elite K-9 Training & Boarding Suites is looking for an organized, customer-focused Receptionist/Reservation Specialist to join our team immediately! If you love dogs and enjoy working in a fast-paced, quickly growing, client-focused environment, this job is for you!

Job Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their dogs with a warm, professional attitude.
Assist clients with check-in/check-out for training and boarding appointments.
Schedule, modify, and confirm training and boarding reservations.
Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
Verify and update client records, including vaccine documentation and boarding agreements.
Process payments and manage invoices accurately.
Communicate feeding schedules, medication instructions, and boarding preferences to the kennel technician team.
Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
Provide information on training programs, boarding services, and upgrades.
Manage multiple calendars.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Other Miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
✅ Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
✅ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role (preferred). Prior sales experience is also helpful, but not required.
✅ Comfortable working with dogs and pet parents.
