Thank you everyone for the loving posts for the loss of Betty. Thank you for the phone calls and the visits. (It is amazing how many lives she touched) Betty was extraordinary she loved to go to the office and she walked around like she owned the place. She loved everyone and everyone who knew her loved her. Some of you cried too, which just confirms she was loved by many. Thank you for your love and kindness.

Buddy update. A few weeks ago as many of you know we rescued a dog. We named him Buddy, The pictures are his story, since we have had him. Pictures of him when he was found, a picture at the groomer, I did not a picture of him at the vet.
Buddy is deaf and sometimes it can be challenging especially when he wants to just lay down at my feet when I am trying to be productive. The biggest help with Buddy are the Yorkies, he follows their lead. When it time to go outside he follows them to the door and out the door he goes for the most part he stays with them in the yard. On occasion Sean or I have to go get him to bring him in. At night when it is time for bed I usually call, Yorkies night night time and they go to their beds. Needless to say Buddy has followed and learned it is time to sleep. He has very few teeth but he eats kibble just like the other dogs. His treats are soft which for some reason he knows when I open the treat bag. The other dogs treats are chewier and they get mad since Buddy's are larger and soft.
Another dog was the last thing I needed but Buddy has become a part our family and is a brother to the the Yorkies and as you can see by the pictures he has adjusted well.

For those who don’t know, this is my dad, Bob Black. He served in the Marines active duty during the Korean war. He created a tribute wall at the Millersburg American Legion. He collected pictures of all those who served in every branch of the military, and was proud to display and thank them for their service. My dad is 92 years old and he will not hesitate to sit down and tell you his stories. Dad, thank you for your service. Thank you for your service to everyone who has served in the military.

I picked up this boy tonight he was rescued from the middle of the road.
We are home, he has not come out of his carrier yet. We are leaving him alone in his time he will come out. He has a groomer appointment tomorrow and hopefully the vet can get him in. As soon as he comes out we will put him in anti-anxiety jacket to keep him as calm and relaxed as possible.
