A 6 month old Doberman dog was treated for CD disease 3 months ago.
A few days ago he was brought to the hospital for treatment of excessive straining and Haemorrhagic entereritis.
Yesterday this dog was brought to the hospital in this condition.
On the basis of physical examination, it was suspected for intestinal intussusception.

Lesson
1-Nervous signs in puppy is not always CD mediated.
Worm infestation plays important role.
Regular deworming with suitable drug/molecule is mandatory.
2 - hemorrhagic enteritis with excessive straining can result into intestinal Intussusception so use of opioids for pain management should be a part of line of treatment in such cases.
3- 3-Deworming in heavy worm load can lead to nervous signs , intestinal obstruction and intussusception .
