I may have to change my lineage on these squirrels dogs next time around. These little Skuna River Treeing Walkers can really tree them timber rats. Skuna River Ann caught one at the feeder this afternoon.

Skuna River Ann and Alice. These 19 week old pups can already move a decent track and make a tree if it is not terribly tough.

The Skuna River Queen 15 (Quick) x Skuna River Reject cross was a huge success. Hopefully Mark Sumrall and Mr Wimp Aron will consider making this cross again in the future.

Skuna River Ann- 19 weeks old. Ran two races and trees her first c**n by herself tonight. First turn out was tough and we did not put a tree at the end of it. Second was a short track but a quick solid tree and had the c**n.

We have always wondered what Sister would do on c***s at night. Well she did exactly as we expected she would last night. We made two trees and looked at c***s in both trees.

Star had not been out in a few days but she really looked good this afternoon. Two trees in about 30 minutes and had the meat on both of them. She is going to be fun this winter. Lots of motor and can really get toenailed in.

It’s been quite some time since we had c**n hound pups at Spurs and Curs Kennels. The last one that was here 21 years ago was a Skuna River Treeing Walker. So it’s fitting that the next ones here will be Skuna River Treeing Walkers. Thanks to Mr Winston (Wimp) Aron for putting these two pups in our hands. These girls are the 16th generation of the great Skuna River bloodline. Skuna River Queen 15 (Quick) x Skuna River Reject. Stay tuned. This is about to get real.
