Initially thought it was BAD news that Banjo needed an ER vet visit to have the sock-like toy retrieved from his stomach. The GOOD news was the retrieval of a 3-6 month onesie he had also eaten. Whole thing. 😖
All good. 🐾❤️ For the moment.😳

Banjo vet day! 👍🏻
Since Banjo gets motion sickness, he was belted in the towel-covered front seat. Thought I was prepared. 💪🏻
Turns out I should have covered the ENTIRE front area of the interior and paid special attention to closing the lid of the middle bin (which is the equivalent of a household junk drawer).😳
Banjo is now resting happily at home. ❤️🐾 He weighs 26 pounds, and we love him.

Any pointers on cleaning in tight spaces are appreciated. 🤢

Banjo reminds us that puppies are not for the faint hearted. Or those who prefer sleeping until 6 or 5 or sometimes 3:20 am.😳
To those who have or have had a puppy, we feel your pain. 💤

And, just like that, the puppies are in their new homes living their best lives with their new families! This has been so much fun for us, and we have loved sharing the puppy antics. Thanks for indulging in the craziness.
Although not in the original plan, we are keeping Earl. I am excited to watch him develop. He will be a great dog!
Fernwood Doodles has been a most interesting venture. Lola is very happy that her job is done (except for helping to train Earl). 🐾❤️ 🦴

Earl is a great early-morning companion. He is a good listener (as well as a good eater and cooperative playmate). He would like to share that he feels strongly about kindness (which is pretty much all he has known in his six weeks) and that his career goals are to help others. (We sometimes have DEEP early morning conversations.) 🤣☕️🐾

Today’s coffee conversation ☕️ includes Earl. Mild-mannered, snuggly, touch of white on the chin, Earl suggested—on behalf of his sibs—that we again try an outing today. He is feeling sturdy and prepared to withstand the elements—for at least five minutes or so.

It was an exhausting conversation 💤, BTW. And, puppy food contains no caffeine.😫
