A lot of you may not know how much work goes into showing dogs. Most of it is behind the scenes, rather like an Olympic sprint!!
We have all worked hard toward National shows that have been cancelled and we obviously only have local judges atm.
The dogs have to be super fit as they can be worked hard, sometimes in extreme conditions to ensure they do not "fall apart". That they don't look pretty at the start then not have the endurance to carry on as they should, as a working dog, bred to work all day.
Professional handlers are often brought in from overseas and it is extremely rare to see an owner in the ring with their dog on the lead. They are outside the ring calling their dog, making sure they work well and look their best.
We are very proud of our wonderful handler Sue Beisley and can never thank her enough for her excellent handling and training skills.
This is her boy "Darcy" - Iccara Brother in Arms proving just how wonderful she is. He is working his heart out for the love of Sue and the pure joy of living he has. Sue is on the lead, handling her own dog to Excellent 1. Isn't it wonderful to see?

I'm Darcy and my Mum, Sue, thinks I'm pretty clever cos I haven't let any other dogs beat me in the show ring!!
My Mum says I have to have lots of brushes cos I'm a long coat and my best friend, Delta, doesn't cos she's only short but I love my brushes so I don't mind
I have also passed breed survey, which was fun, and my hips and elbows are fantastic. I'm not really sure about that cos I was napping while a nice lady stroked me :)
I got a huge hug today and hoping for special dinner cos I'm gonna be a Daddy to at least 8 bubbas!! No ci**rs please, nasty things, make me sneeze :(
I have another lady friend who may be having bubbas soon too, so exciting to have little ones to play with :)
Anyway, Mum decided the top pictures made me look good, I like this one myself. Ladies, I'm ready for you 😘😘
