We’re SO EXCITED about our 2025 ISC trial lineup! We have great designers, the best local AKC judges, tons of fun prizes and awards and we always have a GREAT TIME! Save the dates and join us!

It’s the most…wonderful time….of the year! ISC prep camp!! For 2025 it will take place March 21-23 with three days of awesome instruction! Registration will open on our website on December 1st at 8am and we expect it to fill quickly! Mark your calendar and get excited with us!

We have two events THIS SATURDAY that you'll want to get registered for:

1) Peyton has one spot left in her Focus & Engagement Workshop at 10am. This is for anyone who wants help getting their dog working with them and ignoring distractions in the ring.

2) An agility FUN MATCH! pick your time, either 12:30 or 2:30. You'll get 3 turns for 3 minutes each, on UKI style courses designed by UKI judge, Peyton Green! You can run the course or choose to train specific things with your three minutes in the ring. $25 per dog and spots are limited!

And finally, we'll be decorating for the Holidays! Join us starting at 3:30pm for hot chocolate and decorating!

We spent some time training today, working with several dogs in the ring at a time, and one of them was rat terrier, Pepper! She doesn’t have a long training history but we have worked several times with Peyton on her focus and engagement. When I initially got her, she would leave me to bark at other dogs or people. Just look at her now! How’d we do it? We went to Peyton’s Focus and Engagement workshop and have attended her classes a few times to work on just this…and would you look at her now? In the ring with a wild malinois and a loud mudi, lots of action, music, loud rain on the roof, and Pepper only had eyes for me! You too can achieve this, and Peyton has a Focus and Engagement workshop planned for next Saturday!! Visit our website’s Events page now to get one of the last spots!

We had a great time at the Pacific Northwest Shetland Sheepdog Club, Inc. AKC ISC No Turning Back Cup! The trial was a mix of seasoned competitors and first timers, and we were so proud of everyone who showed up, helped out, and had fun with their dogs!

Big thanks to our trial committee, especially Secretary Peyton Green, and Hospitality/Tear Down, Stephanie De Mello. Big thanks to Manca Mikec for driving down to judge for us!

Our PNWSSC AKC ISC Event: the No Turning Back Cup starts TOMORROW! First dog on the line at 10:30am. Saturday and Sunday we will start at 9am. Volunteers and spectators are welcome! We'll be course building and setting up starting at 8:30am tomorrow.

We're unfortunately having technical difficulties due to a damaged computer, so please be patient with our communications this weekend!
