K9 Natural 2024 Dogs Australia Agility Nationals

Next week get ready for the K9 Natural 2024 Dogs Australia Agility Nationals, held at the DOGS NSW Grounds from 9 -14 July.

Competitors from all over the country are making their way to NSW this year to compete in the event, vying for the chance to become a National Champion. With judges coming not only from around the country but from Slovakia, Hungary and New Zealand it’s sure to be an event not to miss.

Throughout the event expect to see the incredible bond and teamwork between dog and handler as they navigate courses from Novice to Masters, showing off their skills. Dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes will be competing so we invite the community to come and show their support and cheer on their fellow competitors!

Last year I was extremely fortunate to work with Australia’s best Film animal wranglers Peta Clarke & Becky Faulkner, on this beautiful Australian Children’s story about an Underdog duo that take the Agility World by storm to try and save their family farm, by Australian author Craig Silvey.

I’m so proud of the work my girl - Papillon - AbFab Cosmic Halo (Halo) did for this movie & am enduringly grateful to the amazing people we got to work with, and the outstanding actors who took such great care of her on set.

Halo plays the Rival dog in the story - Chariot (aka the World Champion Agility Dog 💖) She’s at the 44sec mark and the very end of this trailer.

Can’t wait to see her on the big screen - RUNT comes out in Cinemas September this year.

PerthNow was given an exclusive first look at the big screen adaptation of Craig Silvey’s beloved kids book Runt, which was shot late last year in Perth and the Wheatbelt town of York.

It's 6 weeks to the Dogs Australia National Agility Championships 2024 - being held in NSW - and I know there's people out there wondering *"What do I do for my dog's fitness at this late stage?"*

Jack has been coming to see me for 5 weeks and has had laser, massage, Hydrotherapy and conditioning twice a week. The transformation is outstanding. His Mum gives him the very best diet & has his best life at heart.
I’m so proud of how far Jack has improved & the energy he now has. From not being able to sit, to sitting beautifully.
From having all his weight forward to gradually building strength in his posture and rear.
