As 2024 draws to a close, I want to thank all of my amazing Clients for the best year yet!
I am so proud of all the dogs who have rehabbed, who have gained years back on their lives with health & greater mobility, and who have each woofed, wagged and bounded their way into the DogFit Conditioning & Performance Centre over the past 12 months.
Thank you for your joy, your hearts and your amazing puppas - I’m so very blessed to truly have the best job in the world!
The video is a small snapshot of the dogs I’ve helped this year, and I take a moment to send love to the rainbow bridge for some of my seniors who had longer lives thanks to DogFit, but still had to say goodbye to us mortal souls this year. My heart is with their owners, and many tears were shed from having touched the lives of those beautiful dogs.
Looking forward to 2025, there’s a lot in store & big plans ahead.
I wish you all the very best for a wonderful Christmas & New Year!

DogFit Summer Agility Training 2025

DogFit is excited to bring fun filled Agility Summer Workshops in January and February 2025
The sessions will be for beginners and seasoned Agility handlers to train modern handling techniques through a mix of skills, sequencing and jump grids.
The sessions are designed to contain a balanced mix of handler and dog skills, so as not to over work the dogs.

Up to 6 working spots in each Class.

After your application is received, you will be e-mailed directly with successful spots and the appropriate invoice.
Please allow 24 hours for us to process applications.

Each class gives you the chance to train with your dog & build on the skills of each workshop.
They will be held in Somersby on the following dates & times:
Sundays:
January 12 & 19
February 2, 9, 16
February 23 - Courses for Jumping & Agility

Sessions:

7:30 - 8:45am - Sequencing skills for Agility Dogs
9am - 10:15am - Agility Jumping Foundations

8am Sunday 23 February Course running for Jumping & Agility (3 hours)

Sequencing skills for Agility Dogs will include:
- Handling and dog skills from Pre-Novice to Advanced
- Coaching to suit each team at the level you are at
- Sequencing challenges that build over the 6 sessions, or drop in to classes as you like

Agility Jumping Foundations will include:
- Striding & strength for Jumping
- Skills and grids for improved jump and performance
Ideal for all dogs either new to Agility or currently competing. Dogs must be over 13 months old, and have some foundations for Dog Sports.

Course running for Jumping & Agility (3 hours)
- Mock trial running Agility course first with 2nd run through as additional practice. (session 1 8am to 9:15am)
- Mock trial running Jumping course with 2nd run through as practice. (Session 2 9:30am to 11am)

Classes: $60 per dog/handler team.
Course running: $40 per dog/handler team per session

I’m so lucky to have amazing Clients. My passion is helping all dogs live their best lives, and hydrotherapy treadmill is amazing for so many dogs.
The cutest boy Dylan here enjoying his regular hydro - he also has a massage & conditioning exercise session to keep him fit & mobile.

The Sniff-Fit Advanced Class had a fun night scenting in a Halloween theme!
All the teams did such great work! Lovely River was the speediest and bravest sniffer, fending off spiders and pumpkins to find the hides.

Gratitude is our attitude! 🙏❤️

I am so grateful for the amazing Clients I have. Thanks to Harley & Millie & their Mum who have been staying on the Coast for the past few months, all the way from Melbourne, and who have been working with me to help Harley rehab & Millie regain confidence in the hydro-treadmill.

Harley arrived with a limp, and is leaving with a fabulous new physique, gaining balance and postural strength through my Hydro-treadmill and conditioning program for him.

Millie has regained confidence in the Hydrotreadmill, running around so happy after her 6 week program.

Thanks for being amazing Clients. Safe travels home to Victoria & I’m so glad to have had the chance to help Harley & Millie 💖

Harley & Millie also train scentwork & I hope to see you again at a Scentwork trial in the future! ❤️⭐️

Halo is an agility whizz both in the real world & in Upson Downs.
