For the girls on this rainy International women’s day ☔️ remember to be kind, respect and love one another ♥️ woman, especially some horsewomen I know are all these things and the support I get is incredible and I will always be one to encourage my fellow girlies! Let’s build each other up, it can completely transform a girl/women 🦋 There are sadly ones who are jealous or put you down for your abilities but remember girls, it’s their issues not yours, you are so strong and although we learn new things everyday don’t let anyone make you doubt how awesome you are, I find smiling the best method to pacify anyones struggles with themselves and staying out of as much gossip as possible really helps. Also not biting when someone offers you advice that is clearly coming from below the level you have worked so hard to get to, acknowledge and walk away with your head held high and show, not say, what your made of 🤗 although I am still learning that walking away can be hard to deal with when it’s made you angry so make sure you keep talking to someone you trust to let it out and be proud that you did not engage in something you may regret. Busy week again, so grateful for the work but also need to take a breath, in between studying and family it gets a bit crazy, note to self…must take a minute to breath, some great lessons this week with clients and horses all feeling good but following an injury last week out on the roads with a rather large inconsiderate lorry driver and riding a rather large horse I am a little tired but tis the nature of the job…trying to relax as much as possible this weekend ready for a packed week again next week! I am very lucky to be working with these beautiful animals everyday, of all different sizes and shapes, anyone that knows me will know I love big horses (17hh+) but since getting back into training horses I equally love riding the plucky ponies and there are some fantastic ones out there 🥰
This boy is one of my higher friends! Harbour is 7yrs and is a very handsome, very successful ex racer who is now enjoying a slower pace of life, we’re getting him fitter and back into ridden work ready for his lovely owner to get back on board, he is a character and likes to keep me on my toes but when he listens he is a star and I see a lot of potential 😍🌟
I’m looking forward to working on some lateral movements and getting him moving forward freely and up into the contact, then we will be moving onto some pole work in our next session to get some more elevated paces but this week we are off out into our amazing New Forest for a ride 🐎

PROFILE - Jack - This lovely lad is a 4 yr old forester, he’s had a little bit of training last year and progressed to being sat on but is now ready to start his riding journey, we’re taking it slow and steady as I do with all my horses, taking it at their pace and that of their owners, when the horse is ready they tell me! He needs to get that strong foundation on the ground before we progress to being under saddle and to form a solid, trusting relationship between him and his owner, by making him happy and listening with me and then bringing his owner in to the training so that they can enjoy many years of riding and time together, this little one is going to be fun for all the family and I’m looking forward to seeing him progress.
