Due to their dark coloring, it can be challenging to capture a black puppy's beauty and essence on film. This little girl is stunning in every way! We are looking forward to her passing on her temperament, stature, and beauty to future generations at Heartland Hills.
(After passing all health requirement first of course🙏🏼)

I wish everyone could see the blacks in person. If you have opportunity to adopt a black puppy, but they dont show up as well on photos, dont hesitate to adopt based on that alone. They are absolutely stunning and beautiful in person!!!❤️

An answer to prayer. During Ruby and Chase first litter, a perfect black female with a white spot on her chest, was born. I had always wanted a black female! Unfortunately, she was unresponsive. We tried, and tried to revive her, but to no avail.

When we chose to breed Ruby and Chase again, I prayed for another black female. One with a beautiful broad head, lovely coat, and a confident and loving temperament.

The vet saw 7 puppies in the exray, "maybe 8". After the 7th pup was born, we didn't know if there would be another. And then this beautiful girl was born!

And she is everything we prayed for! ❤️

This sweet little man, Fitzroy, flew all the way to Virginia to be with his forever family.

Update: "Polly he is doing amazing!! He's such a snuggler!!!! Amazing temperament. He's truly perfect!"

Tracey and Craig drove from Illinois to meet their 2nd Heartland Hills Cobberdog Charlie today. Charlie will have such a wonderful life! He will be living with his half brother Max from Rylie and Chase's 2023 litter 😃

The only thing better than a cobberdog, is TWO cobberdogs! ❤️

Training for therapy work. This is 10 week old Truro, from Ruby and Chases litter, visiting his friend that has a spinal cord injury. "He is super comfortable and calm" even when he went on his first visit.

This is what Cobberdogs are bred for! Calm nature, human focused, and intuitive. ❤️

So proud of Truro and thankful for his family!

Would you like to wake up everyday and gaze into this sweet boys eyes? He is a medium size bundle of love from our parent dogs Ruby x Chase (imported from Tegans in Australia). He is sweet, loves to be near his people and is confident. His coat is a beautiful honey gold with deeper red at the roots. He us a real live teddybear.

Sweet Grace, Ruby x Chase yellow collar girl, at her new home. She is loved well and enjoying her family! Grace will be trained and used to bring comfort to hospice and end-of-life-care patients.❤️

Here are comments about her first couple of days:
"I'm so excited and optimistic! We had a good night, slept until almost 5. I moved her kennel so it's touching my bed and she feels better about that. We already adore her 😍"

"We have welcomed many dogs over the years, but this has been a really good experience. We appreciate you and the work you're doing and the puppies you're sharing with the world! ❤️"

"I'm not sure if all the puppies in this litter were this special or if she's just a wonderful fit, but I'm so grateful and excited that we were matched with Grace. She's gentle and sweet and friendly and confident. She's settling in really well. I am so excited about it all!"
