I hugged him goodbye as he went off to work “have a good day I love you!”

A new rooster to join the coop with some new ladies! Adding another heritage breed to our breeding group 🐓

His crow reminds me of a traditional old farm rooster call. I find it neat how each breed has a different tone! I can tell who the culprit is on an early morning 😆

A lot of hard work and late nights are starting to form into our dream🥰

The goal of having the barn built by September didn’t happen but we are so grateful for where we are now.

The concrete is poured and ready to go! And so the building begins!

Well.. the date was set and our setup was ready!

It’s been an amazing experience from collecting eggs & watching them all hatch in aww and excitement.

Daily chores involved making sure everyone was happy and healthy🐓

Feeling truly blessed for this day.

First tomato harvest of 2022!

Normally I have a large variety of tomatoes. This year besides the few odd ones that popped up from last year, I planted paste tomatoes!

I’m so pleased with such beautiful tomato sauce this year 🥰
