The beauty of using a drop trap is that the cats who have already been fixed can eat, while I wait for the unfixed cats.

The downside- I have to watch the trap constantly to wait for the unfixed cats.

At least I am inside waiting today

This is Leo. He has a regular caretaker that feeds him. Leo showed up 2 years ago with an abscess on his back. The caretaker said it didn’t seem to bother him so he never did anything about it. While I was called out for a different injured cat, I insisted on getting Leo to the vet to get this taken care of. I am shocked this cat is still alive . It was drained, he got some antibiotics and he stayed inside for the healing. Leo is now doing amazing and I can guarantee he’s feeling much better. But… things like this cost money. I don’t want to have to say no to feral cats that are in pain. They deserve to be happy and healthy too. When you donate to Simba’s Pride, these types of vet care along with spay/neuter/vaccines and food are what we use the money on. Please donate toward Leo’s vet bills- every dollar helps. Ragnar is a cat I trapped a week ago who ended up being tame. He is a total sweetheart and will be available for adoption soon. I love getting these guys off the street to a better life indoors.

Last week was crazy for Simba’s Pride. 3 dentals and an eye surgery on feral cats. Simba’s Pride exists so that we can raise money to do these types or surgeries. With good colony caretakers, feral cats can thrive and have a happy, long life with proper vet care. When you donate to Simba’s Pride, these are examples of where the funds go, in addition yo spay/nauter/vac and food for feral cats. Look what one of my volunteers was up to this week. She trapped 12 adults and 12 kittens in 2 days. There are still at least 2 cats left but whew- amazing work

I am in need of community cat feeders at 3 locations. I only need someone to feed one day a week. The feeding takes about 5 minutes at most plus the drive time to get there. This is a great way to help cats without committing a lot of time. Cat food will be provided. The locations are:

Santa Fe and Titan Road in Littleton, CO
44th and Kipling in Wheatridge, CO
Colfax and Moline in Aurora, CO
