Summer Fun is a former racehorse who started his second career in the jumper ring in 2023. Last weekend we got to go up to Golden Gate Fields for the Thoroughbred Sporthorse Challenge awards, where we received his award for Champion in the Hopeful Jumper Division. Extremely proud of this horse, and looking forward to what this years show season holds for him ❤️

RIDER SPOTLIGHT!!
Anissa Degerli has been with us less than a year but is already such a positive and important part of our program!! Always willing to lend a helping hand, she steps up to help when she sees something she can do without being asked. She always has a positive attitude and is encouraging to her fellow riders. She has been working with her young horse Haze, and they have made tremendous progress in a short amount of time! This great duo has the talent and potential to be great and I’m so thankful to be helping them along their way and can’t wait to see the end result!!

Rider Spotlight!!

Brooklyn Woods is probably our most enthusiastic rider!! She always has a smile on her face and gives her all every ride!! Her joy is infectious and we LOVE having her out here!! She has been successful at some of our local shows, and we can’t wait to watch her continue to develop as a rider!!

***RIDER SPOTLIGHT ***

Alyssa Raya is one of the hardest working kids I have had the pleasure of knowing!! She is SO dedicated, motivated, and driven to get better and be the best she can be. She has a challenging mare that she loves more than anything and works hard with, and the progress they have made in just 1 year is really quite something! Alyssa works hard around the barn, and is one of Wyatt’s favorite people!! She has big goals and dreams for herself and her horse and with her work ethic it’s only a matter of time before she reaches them! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Alyssa and her riding career ❤️

Finished with a successful first week of horse camp!! We had lots of kids and lots of fun!!! We have 2 more camps in July, our show team camp for our riders already in lessons July 10-14, and our Mini camp July 18-20 which is just a shorter version of the camp we had this week! ***RIDER SPOTLIGHT ***

McKenzie Turnbull is 9 years old, and joined our program 2 years ago. About 1 month after starting with us, she competed in her first show in Paso Robles in the walk/trot and pole division. Since she started with us, she has been one to work hard at her riding with not much complaining! She willingly drops her stirrups, 2-points and does other leg and base building exercises to help her progress! When she started with me she said her goal was to jump. In the 2 years, she has progressed from walk/trot and poles, to crossbars, showing different horses and ponies and learning from each one. Last week at the Beach Party show she moved up to 2’ and did SO good!! She still has things to work on, and progress to make, but this kid has worked VERY hard and come SO far!! She is also one who is always willing to lend a hand and help out (Wednesday she stayed to unpack the trailer from the show almost by herself!!) she stays to help with beginner lessons if given the chance and has some big goals for her future riding career!! We are so glad to have her and her family as part of our program and look forward to her future! Here’s a look back with some pictures from her start with us until now ❤️

We had SO much fun at the Let’s Show Beach Party show last week!! Our horses were fabulous, Everyone did well, had fun and most importantly learned!!

Come horse around and have some fun at one of our Summer Horse Camps!! Make some new friends, develop new skills and increase your knowledge about horses!! Campers will get to learn the basics about riding, grooming, handling, feeding, bathing, tacking up and other horsemanship skills and lessons with daily hands on activities, lessons and games! We are offering a few different camps this summer: our 5 day full camp version which includes an exhibition for the parents on Friday to show what they have learned, our Mini 3 day version of the full camp, our Junior version specifically geared for kids ages 4-6, and our Show Team version for all ages (adults included) geared towards riders already in lessons and showing with us.
