An Island based pet grooming company! We are trainers turned groomers - pets learn good habits✂️🚐 There is a flat service fee rate of $30* for mobile services.

Shakers offers mobile service to your home for a fee, or you come to us at one of our parked locations! We service Parksville to Campbell River, including Coombs and Bowser! To be able to come to your home we need an outside water tap, a standard plug-in, and we have to be able to fit our 32ft truck on a flat(ish) driveway or road! We offer all pets service! Dogs & cats-horses & birds too! Do you

have a special event going on that you’d like us to attend? We bath dogs before competitions, shows, and sporting events! Agility trials, dock dives, herding trials, and more! Invite us along! We’ve got great day rates.

🚐It was the greatest music to a trainers ears when Suebees owners said they wanted Suebee to have her own style now because she is no longer a Mexican street dog, but a loved Canadian pet✂️💈
When we stop introducing pets as “hi this is Suebee, she’s our scared Mexican rescue dog who’s nervous and anxious”, and just start saying “hi this is Suebee, she’s our new pet”, we allow pets to create a name for themselves vs hiding behind the labels we’ve given them, which potentially inadvertently holds them back.
Suebee got her own hairdoo and did pretty good for being “Just Suebee”🩷

🐩Golden Emma & her phantom pal Auli (Olly) went from fuzzy s**g to tame tidies this week!🩷 These sweet girls are getting the hang of the truck and learning a new 8 week grooming schedule to keep on-top of their matting potential. It’s a process that takes a few appointments to earn each-others trust, But we certainly made progress again this visit🤗

🐓One of our chicken gals needed a bathing over the weekend🩷
We pour her a warm water bath with some Epsom salts and wash her dirty feathers & feet. Then she gets a blow drying and her nails painted! She spends the night inside to dry thoroughly and back out with her friends in the morning!🌅

🛁Ziggy cat had some mats. Just little ones, but mostly she had compacted undercoat built up! I brushed her out throughly and taught her mummy how to keep up at home!💈
