I am officially back in the office with the little man (aka the home studio) and it feels so great to get back into the swing of things right where we left off!! The last 1.5 weeks felt like the first time in a very long time where I was mostly hands off from the business, and I am so immensely grateful for the team for holding the fort down💛 We did a ton of preparations before my wedding, but from running our largest wholesale promotion with hundreds of items shipping out and consistently having posts go up still, I feel very fortunate to have found a team that makes running this business so fun, rewarding, and truly something I look forward to everyday🥹

PS you guys left me the most helpful comments in my previous poll for our Cloud Lite Harnesses and I can’t thank you enough for this data - I’m taking my time to write down each of your responses so I can make an informed decision with possibly adding metal clip harnesses to our product lineup and I will get back to you all soon!!🤝🏻👩🏻‍💻

Since releasing our harnesses first last October we’ve been diligently collecting feedback from you all to ensure we can continue to improve our products based on what our community wants to see in our dog products. From designing, to prototyping, testing, and ultimately production we spend several months working closely with our suppliers to finalize every little detail of our products, and if you remember our original harness took 15 months to release. Even minor changes often takes weeks to make revised prototypes, which leads us to do more testing with real customers before we make the huge investment in inventory. We’re so excited to share a few new updates we made to our Cloud Lite Dog Harness 2.0 which will be first available in our 2 new Summer colors and will eventually be updated in our existing color ranges later this year!

☁️Updated webbing and hardware to ensure no more routine adjustments! We found this was primarily an issue for dogs that were at the smallest adjustment across our size range, but have since tested new webbing specs and hardware to ensure the adjustment stays put across all size dogs. We had so many customers test these multiple variations of changes and are so grateful for everyone that has been patiently waiting for this update.
📐Extended size Large with a wider chest strap range from 26” to now 38”, a longer belly strap (max 11.5”), and longer top strap to accommodate our even bigger dog friends!
📏Extended belly straps for size Small (max 7”) and Medium (max 9”) to accommodate our deeper chest friends!

Happy Holidays from our family to yours!🌟 Thank you so much for an incredible year for Sunny Tails and for being part of our small business story🥹 We are so passionate about what we do and could not have grown this year without your continuous love and support. To see you and your pups in our gear and to hear how we’ve been part of your dog parenting journey inspires us each and everyday. I wanted to share a few incredible stats this year along with some updates before I head out to Asia tomorrow to visit my parents + take some time off to travel!

🐶We donated 7400+ lbs of dog food to pups in need across the country this year. We can’t thank you enough for helping us give back and for shopping small at Shop Sunny Tails, it means the world to us.

🤝🏻Our collective community across multiple platforms has reached 128K+! Even though this is just a number, I am so proud to be part of a supportive dog community and for everyone following along our journey — we are here because of you.

🎥 I filmed and edited 800+ videos this year and counting! I have honestly loved documenting and sharing our story with you all so let me know what kind of content you would like to see next!!

🌎Our wholesale orders were up +816% YoY! We truly are so grateful for our Retailers, many of whom have become our close friends and our biggest supporters. One of my dreams is to visit all of our Retailers across the world, but to see you guys share pictures and videos of where you have been finding Sunny Tails in real life is so special. As we head into the new year I will be in Taiwan + Japan and will be sharing some of our highlights in our stories! I did want to share some unfortunate news that our XS Harnesses in production were delayed, so we will be releasing them once I am back in January. While I am travelling the shop will remain open and I’ll be checking emails (and might be a little bit slow to respond) but the team will be here to still ship out orders. When we first released Extension Pieces they sold out so fast and I honestly wasn’t prepared for how popular they would be! Our extension pieces feature the adjustable end of our convertible leashes which extends from 2.3 ft to 4.5 ft and an O ring to connect to various points on our convertible leash. Use the 4-WAY Extension with our our 4-in-1 Convertible Leashes to:

1. Connect at the end of the leash to make a long lead (ranging 4.6 ft - 9 ft)
2. Connect on the body adjustment to extend the the leash around your body
3. Connect as a removable traffic handle to use in high traffic areas
4. Connect as a double leash at the O ring to walk 2 pups (please note we do not recommend this for pullers or large dogs)
