Tips to keep your pets safe:

1. KEEP THEM INSIDE
Cats and dogs should not be left outside, even if they are accustomed to roaming around. Dogs enjoy walks and exercise but should be kept inside otherwise.
2. BUNDLE UP
Windchill can threaten your pet’s life as their exposed skin (noses, ears, paw pads) are at risk for frostbite and hypothermia. Short-haired dogs typically enjoy wearing a coat or sweater during extreme cold.
3. WIPE DOWN PAWS
Rock salt and other ice-melting chemicals can cause irritation to your pet’s paws and their mouth if they lick their paws. You should wipe down their feet after adventures outside.

Christmas in NY!

Here's the schedule for now, I'll be in NY until the first week of January, then in NC until atleast May! I always welcome doing check ins, I'll go over, make sure the pup gets outside to do their business, and gets a drink! Reminder, I have loads of experience with birds, chickens, small animals (hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas) and reptiles, such as tortoises, bearded dragons, anoles, geckos etc! I've had tree frogs, aquatic frogs, and axotles! If you have it, and it's not on the list, I'm down to learn! 😎🦎🐾🦘🐕🐀🐣🦜

Just want to put this out there, please don't give your dogs rawhide, it isn't healthy, and has been proven to contain dangerous chemicals! This includes the braided bone looking Christmas treats, the big ones in the plastic tubes/packages! Hope Santa paws keeps all of the doggos happy, healthy and safe, this Christmas season! 🙏🎄

I'll be in NY for a few weeks, celebrating Christmas with my family!! I'll be back to doing animal care in the new year!! It's been a great 2022, and I have every reason to believe that 2023 will be even better! 🙏🎄

I've watched many animals, dogs and cats are the most common, but I've watched fish, gerbils, hamsters, bearded dragons, chickens, and others! I'll watch reptiles, fish, frogs, birds, chickens, ducks, pigs! Shoot me a message! 🐾

Little bit about me! I've been taking care of animals, since my pre school days! I've had pets my entire life, from hamsters, parakeets, betta fish, hermit crabs, moon crabs, a bearded dragon, Russian tortoise, a freshwater flounder, crayfish, walking sticks, mice, a rat, chickens, and dogs! I started pet sitting, when I was in elementary school! I've worked with a traveling educational zoo many times, leading animal meet and greets! I've worked as the animal attendant, at Humphrey farm! I've held owls, and even pet a sloth, while volunteering at the a large animal expo, F.A.R.E., located out of Canada! I take my job as pet sitter very seriously, and I don't take the trust of an animal for granted!
