What a wonderful weekend showing for Brucey Boy, Friday night @ Dogswest Classic - Best of Breed, Dog CC, Puppy of Breed earning his final 2 points for his championship, Saturday @ Western Classic - R/Up Best of Breed, Dog CC, Puppy of Breed and then onto today @ Royal Canin Classic under Judge Mr Serge Tassan (QLD)- Best of Breed, Dog CC, Puppy in Group - when on the way out of the ring the judge stopped Brucey boy and Neil Hamilton with a comment of "The best jaw and head structure I've seen in a long time. This is how a bulldog should be structured!" What awesome feedback :) couldn't be happier and prouder for our home bred boy!! Official photos to follow :)

Thanks to everyone for all their help and support over the weekend, you all know who you are :)

Our most wonderful boy…
What an amazing 11 months it has been having you in our life ❤️
From the moment you were born we knew you were going to be something special, then at 3.5 months when you walked in and took out Best Baby Puppy in Group at the 2021 Perth Royal under judge Ms Teena Sloan we knew we were on the right path!
You have stolen the hearts of so many with your looks and your sass (or sulking rather in your show trolley), you have definitely pushed us all the way with our handling abilities and embarrassing moments with judges (Mrs Heather Jones) It takes a very open minded judge to be able to see the greatness in a British Bulldog and I am thankful to each and every judge that has been able to do so and that have awarded you. Best Puppy in Show - Mr Frank Waring (WA), Mr Geoffrey Blythe (Tas), Mrs Heather Jones WA), Best Puppy in Group - Mrs Kerry Cannon (NSW), Mrs Olga Meyer (WA), Mrs Linda Taylor (WA) & Mrs Victoria Parke (WA).
Many thanks to Jenni Williams and Maria Holland for being our mentors for the past 12 months and stepping in and helping us over the last few weeks when Neil Hamilton began his show debut and to Sarah Griffiths and Justine Boreham for being awesome stewards and making sure I didn’t leave the ring at the wrong time 😊 Ken and Sandra Winter for all the laughs and giggles and advice and support both under the gazebo and ringside and for all the great company and fellow exhibitors. Sally Baxter and Victoria Parke for introducing us to the world of dogshows!! Never knew how many dog things could fit in a house before then!! 😊 Thank you to Michelle Roberts for all your help and advice with training, he has come so far in just a few short weeks! Thanks so much to Jodie Grieve and Diana Andersen among many others for all the time and effort you put in to capture awesome pictures of Brucey Boy. Please know, we appreciate each and everyone of you!!!
After only 8 months of showing (and only 5 months of those being eligible to earn points) last night at the DogsWest Classic, you took out Best of Breed, Dog CC and Puppy of Breed and by doing so earnt the last 2 points you needed….

You know you married the love of your life when you have the same interests 🙂 Neil took Brucey boy to the Metropolitan Kennel Club shows today while I stayed home and tried to find what lungs that I have left and they didnt disappoint, in the open show under Mrs Victoria Parke (WA) they bought home Best of Breed and Puppy of Group then went on to the Championship Show under Mrs Olga Meyer (WA) to take out Best of Breed and Puppy of Group!!! So proud of both my men!! To all the other exhibitors who supported hubby and brucey today, you all know who you are a special amount of love to you all, cant thank you all enough for your support!!

Have been a little quiet since our return from Geraldton (official pics of the boy below) have spent a little time in hospital over the last week with a few dramas, the worst being bronchial pnemonia. So far Miss Puddin' is holding tight to the puppies but the temp drop we have been waiting for means they now arent to far away!!! Due to me being ill, I wont live stream as I usually do for the first week, but will be sure to pop a pic or two up of the welcome arrivals when life allows.
Hubby has stepped up to the plate today and is showing Brucey boy, will be good to see what results they have when they come home this afternoon.

A wonderful weekend away in Geraldton to attend the Geraldton & Districts Kennel Club 50th Anniversary triple header!! My boy Brucey didn’t disappoint!!!

Only a few puppies this time around 🙂 💚 which will give us extra special time to spend with each of them 🙂 thank you Tricia Kraan for allowing us to use Connor, so very excited to see what we have in a weeks time.

And our 3 year old thought Miss Puddin’ needed a blanket!! Very fitting right now 😂

For something a little different this morning, the first comparison is with Miss Puddin on the left and her mum Miss Ruby on the right, then of course the second is of Miss Puddin this pregnancy ❤️
Off to see our beautiful vet Tracy Paluszak Swan Valley Vet Centre today for our X-ray to see how many paws we will be greeted with in just over a weeks time!!
