During this critical period, we closely monitor each puppy’s weight gain daily. Tracking weight helps us ensure they’re thriving, as steady gains indicate healthy development. If a puppy’s weight stagnates or drops, it can signal health concerns, allowing us to intervene quickly. These little ones depend on us for a strong, healthy start, and we’re dedicated to providing just that ❤️
Exciting times here at Bordoodles WA! Our beautiful mama, Sophia, is less than a week away from welcoming her next litter of puppies, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Sophia has been absolutely glowing throughout her pregnancy, showing her usual sweet and gentle nature while being the incredible mama we know her to be. She’s had her check-ups, and everything looks perfect—we’re just counting down the days until we get to meet her little ones! As always, we’re preparing for a smooth delivery by having our setup ready and stocked, and we’ll be right by her side to ensure she’s as comfortable as possible when the time comes. By exposing them to these sounds in a safe and controlled way, we help them grow accustomed to different noises and reduce the chances of fear or anxiety later in life. We want them to leave us not just as loving companions, but also as adaptable, brave, and well-rounded members of their new families. We had the pleasure of caring for Monti at our BWA Homestay while his family was away on an overseas holiday. Yesterday, they returned and picked him up, and it was such a joyful moment to witness their reunion! Seeing Monti's excitement and his family's happiness was truly heartwarming.
