Meet Lacy
Lacy is a 6 month old spayed female GSP. She has a much more timid personality than her sister Loretta. She much rather snuggle up on the couch than be wild and crazy. She is good with kids, dogs and adults. She does show interest in cats but doesn't have a huge pray drive. She will need a home that will continue to help her build her confidence and bloom.

Meet Loretta
Loretta is a 6mo spayed female GSP. She is very outgoing and high energy. She had a huge prey drive and will chase cats and attack chickens. She loves playing with other dogs or hanging out with her humans on the couch. She does well with kids but may knock over younger ones by accident. She does not have any food or toy aggression. She will need a sturdy fence to keep her in. She does love to be outside if she has friends out there with her. She would do wonderful in a home with an active family who can match her playful attitude and energetic self.

Loretta and Lacy are growing so quick!
Their personalities are so different!
Loretta is bold, wild and confident. Lacy remains very quiet and nervous although day by day she is starting to come out of her shell. 💕

Loretta and Lacy had their first vet appointment and did great. They will be up for adoption once all of their vetting is complete! If you are interested in adopting please fill out an application through ilshorthairrescue.com They are located in Tennesee but all paperwork for adoption will go through Illinois Shorthair Rescue .

We want to welcome Lacy and Loretta to the rescue! They are 2.5 month old German Shorthair Pointers who were pulled out of a sad situation in Arkansas. We are thankful they are rescued and safe. More information to come soon!

Jake has had a big day!
He is still a little groggy but he got microchipped, up to date on vaccines and neutered! Thanks to Horse Plus Humane Society for all of your help with him!
The best part is.... HE IS ADOPTED!!! ❤
Why he was abandoned we will never know, but what we do know is he has his forever home now!

If his previous owner does not claim him he will be neutered and getting up to date on vaccines Thursday! Once he is all healed up he will be up for adoption ❤

Meet Jake!
Jake is a 10 week old male pitbull mix that was found as a stray in Lawrenceburg, TN. He is currently on a 3 day hold. He is the sweetest boy and very smart!

Welcome to 4 Cactus Animal Rescue. We foster cats and dogs in need in the Summertown, TN area. We work with multiple organizations to help rescue, rehab, foster and adopt out animals in need. There is no animal rescue or animal control in our town but there is multiple animals who need help and homes every day!
