🔸WORK UPDATE 🔸
Hello everyone!
Just wanted to thank everyone for their messages and eagerness to have me back to work as soon as possible,
But unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances my healing time will be extended to later September early October at soonest to be back at work.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but feel free to message me for reference referrals of other farriers in the area !

♦️PLEASE READ ♦️
Please have your horses caught and ready for the scheduled time frame discussed ahead of time, I have planned time slots for my day to day work period and when I arrive to a stop it’s nice to have horses ready to be done so I can carry on to the following stop accordingly.
Showing up to one stop with no owner around or horses caught throws off the rest of my day and is not fair to myself or other clients!

Due to a procedure I will be undergoing October 14 will be my last day of work until December 11.
Due to this I am letting everyone know in advance so we can plan accordingly to get horses done before then until I am back and able to work.

**PLEASE READ**
With spring slowly approaching, we are starting to get into busier days ahead so I would like to address some things for current and new clients to keep appointments running smoothly.
* First time clients must be present for their first appointment.
* Clients who are on a rotational schedule need to stay on schedule as I plan my days due to location. Or risk the chance of losing their place in my books!! (This is important for your horses internal and external hoof care, as well keeps my books more tidy. My time is valuable and if u want to wait a week or two please remember to consider that means postponing to the next rotation, when I am back in that location for the day.)
* If you are wanting shoes please bring this up at-least 48 hours before the appointment and not the day of so I can plan accordingly.
* If fluffy kicks/bites me 1 or more times I will add an additional fee for danger pay and not work under the horse any further until it is safe to do so.
* Payment is to be paid once the job is complete. I understand it is easy to forget and I will send a reminder within 24 hours if not received. (Also if payment is to be paid at a later date this must be discussed prior to appointment not once the job is complete.)
* I charge per horse not per hoof.
* Catching fees: It is not my job to catch your horses. If you ask me to catch I will do so but a fee of $10 will be added to the bill as time is money. And if your horse gives me the run around I will not waste my energy running pastures, and we will have to reschedule. (If horses are in a small padlock with halters ready, a fee can be dismissed.)
Please ask questions during the trimming or shoeing session!

Unfortunately due to the repetitive rise of fuel prices as well as supply costs, I will be raising my prices of travel, trimming and shoes.
There will be a $5 increase to trims/shoes per horse as well for each additional travel rate.
I understand it is a difficult time not just for myself but for all, I have withheld as long as possible, price increase will be effective on JUNE 27th.
