It feels like just yesterday I was spamming everyone with the news that you’d been born… bonus picture of you all as day one pinky beans😍🍼
What an honour it has been to spend the last 2 years learning from you all, and for you all to see this day together 🥰 here’s to all the precious time we have left 💕
Yesterday we were visited by the Rattie angels, as Estelle grew her wings 🪽 and joined them ❤️
From the brave little bibbery you were, to the super adventurous troublemaker you became, we’ll miss every part of you… even all the time spent searching the house to find where you decided to explore next! We could always count on you to be exactly where you were NOT meant to be 😒🤣

Well what an eventful week we had! 😮💨🗓
Monday- Bagel became really quiet and withdrawn. Off we went to the vets for an exam which led us to X-rays to asses for arthritis. Both her exam and X-rays came back all clear but we decided the best plan was prophylactic arthritis injections… great news! Miss Bagel May has responded well and is mostly back to her snuggly, energetic self 🥰💕
Tuesday- Tetley George… ever so curious… managed to remove multiple layers of skin off her toe pad… still unsure how she ended up in this predicament…off we went to the vets for assessment and a bandage to stop the bleeding and allow it to heal! 🤕 good news! Her toe pad is healing beautifully and we are now bandageless… but have been crowned with the cone of shame to stop licking at those toe beans 🫘
Wednesday- Miss Indi decided to help herself to not only the leftover meat in the tray, but also the absorbent pad beneath it… in one fell swoop… off to the vets for medication to make her vomit it back up 🤮 better out than in I always say🤷🏼♀️ good news! out it came in one whole piece, no harm done and Indi is on strict instructions to eat the food only, and not the packaging 🤣
Thursday- I heard the weirdest sound I may have ever encountered… a Guinea Pig COUGHING 😱 poor Simon, whilst still bright and eating, had come down with a horrible cough 😞... off to the vets we went, to investigate the cause of this cough. After a check of her teeth we decided to take X-rays to assess her heart and lungs. Good news! Everything came back looking normal… Doctor’s prescription was antibiotics, rest, snacks and snuggles, and keeping a close eye on her 👀
Friday- this fur mumma needed some reprieve from the week of animal chaos 😮💨😴 and lucky they gave that to her! 🥰 now we reset and hope for a better next week 🤣

Even though we whinge about the mess you guys make, we love you both so much ❤️🥳

We’ve had an eventful week here- amidst the chaos of a filter failure in their tank, dearest Tulle and Tykie welcomed our first litter of stingray pups ❤️
These three mini sand kickers were born ready to make a mess!
Whilst one little dude was born with an abnormality, he’s proving to be strong, determined and quite the social butterfly 🦋 often dancing around the tank ☺️
Looking forward to the many lessons I’m sure we are about to learn as these guys grow 🥰

Introducing ‘the Golden Trio’ 🏆
The news of this little litter has been locked in the chamber of secrets 🤫 but the trio has been busy practicing the magical art of growing over the last few months and I think they’ve done pretty well 🥰
Due to their breed these little guys will not be available to witches, wizards or muggles alike, and willl be staying on with us so we can make sure they pass all their O.W.L.s 📝
All that’s left is to wait for their Hogwarts letters to arrive 🦉

A few nights ago, during snuggle time, we noticed a little lump on our dear Bagel! 😥
Thanks to her super vet team, we got her scheduled in for an appointment and procedure to remove the lump yesterday 🙌
Bagel has been so brave and resilient… and super snuggly since 🥰
While she’s recovering we’ll be patiently waiting for the histopathology results… fingers crossed it’s nothing nasty! 🤞
To all my rattie owners out there, here’s a little reminder to check your babies for any unusual lumps and bumps! ❤️

Whilst the mischief and chaos here continues, we can all feel the big part of us that is missing 💔

PCCC Aristotle- 2nd place Young Adult Buck

PCCC Toast- did not place but was such a good girl!
So excited for our next show, but for now our babies need some rest and recuperation before then 😂😴

Safe to say they’re only just recovering now! 🤣💕
