SALES & BOARD POLICY
Below is our updated and current sales and boarding policy. Please refer to this before purchasing a RABBIT from us.
A 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit is due within one hour from the time you claim your rabbit.
Deposits are accepted through cash, PayPal, or Venmo.
LR Mini Rex reserves the right to cancel a sale for any reason. Should we cancel your sale, your deposit will be refunded.
If buyer cancels the sale for any reason, the 50% deposit will NOT be refunded.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to make arrangements for pick up. You will be notified when the rabbit is ready to leave. We will hold your rabbit for two weeks past the date the rabbit is due to leave. After two weeks, there is a $5 a day boarding fee or see boarding information for longer rates.
Boarding: boarding is offered for individuals who have purchased a rabbit and cannot pick the animal up within two weeks. If you want an animal on transport you will need to pay board if it is staying with us for more than two weeks once purchased.
Boarding is also offered to select individuals who need a place to keep there rabbit for a amount of time.
Board is $50 a month and includes hay, grain, cleaning ect, all needs are cared for by LR Mini Rex. Board must be paid on the first of the month. If you pick up your animal up before the end of the month, you will still pay for the month.
A weekly rate can be given depending on the situation, but is at the discretion of LR Mini Rex.
We do not sell rabbits under the age of eight weeks.
Show quality rabbits are sold free of any disqualifications according to the ARBA SOP. A rabbit being sold as show quality does NOT guarantee that the rabbit will place at shows.
Brood quality rabbits are sold for breeding purposes- they can produce show quality but are not show quality themselves
Pet quality rabbits or “culls” are sold as such because they are not ARBA SOP or not the quality that we strive to breed with. They will not be sold with papers!
We guarantee that any rabbit we sell to be, to the best of our knowledge, in good health, free of disease or injury up to the time the rabbit leaves our care. Once the rabbit leaves our care, LR Mini Rex is not held responsible for the well being of the animal.
Rabbits are priced depending on quality, color and pedigree.
We do not guarantee the ability of any rabbit sold to produce live young.
All rabbits are sexed at 8 weeks old. We do our best to accurately assess gender, but it is the buyer’s responsibility to approve the rabbit at the time of purchase.
Delivery and shipping are available for an additional fee.
It is possible for us to work with out of state transportation however the buyer is responsible for all fees and communications.
If purchasing a rabbit with a pedigree, we have the ability to transfer pedigree information through HUTCH. If you are not a HUTCH user, we can print and digitally send pedigrees.
Small bags of grain can be sent upon request in order to transfer your new rabbit over. There will be NO additional charge!
