Rhino Iguanas are native to Hati and surrounding islands. They’re an endangered species due to habitat degradation and invasive species. They’re doing very well in the pet trade though. They’re super smart, can reach lengths up to 5ft and can make very rewarding pets.

Poison Dart Frogs are so beautiful, but also some of the most poisonous animals out there. Well, in the wild at least. These frogs belong to the Dendrobatidae family and there are well over 100 species. However, they are harmless in captivity. They get their toxins from their diet in the wild making them completely harmless in captivity as well as awesome display animals! My favorite is the strawberry dart frog.

Chameleons have a reputation for being mainly display animals that are afraid of human interaction. What people don’t know is that by taking the proper steps, you can have a friendly, socialized chameleon that loves to interact with you. When I first got Ole’ Blue, he didn’t want anyone near him. Now he walks onto my hand voluntarily for chin scratches!

Baby waxy monkey tree frogs! These guys have opposable thumbs and secrete a waxy substance on their skin to prevent dehydration. They can get much larger though, reaching up to 6 inches in length!
