* all spoken for
these are the other 2 Tilly babies. Raven, one of the black babies, is staying here because, she is from Tw***ie. Maya is the broken chocolate and Pixie is her little sister, who should be about the size of Ladybug. Pixie and Raven weigh the same and are the same size. Pixie has the perfect show ears, Oh I love me some good ears.... open and rounded. I can tell Raven and Pixie apart just in the ears. Maya is super chill and easy going. She is such a ham in front of the camera. She is showable now but i have no idea how big she will be full grown. 4 grown babies from these parents who were this size have stayed at show weight, one went waaay over and she lives with me, lol. she is expecting next week, 🤞

* Lollie is still available.
Lulu and Lollie will be ready to hop to new homes next week. They are nearly identical, Lulu is a bit larger and has more fluff, longer coat. Both would be good brood does, 4-H showmanship or possibly fiber animals. They have the best body type and size of all 4 babies, but missing nose markings (litter was an outcross) Both are darlings and so sweet. These are Tilly x Jinx babies.

We had such a great time at the Enumclaw show. Spending time with fellow bunny lovers is always what it’s about for me. I was surrounded by beautiful French lops this time. Oh how much I miss showing them. Congrats to all those big beautiful frenchie winners!!
For Woolies, Cograts to May Creek rabbitry and their handsome Otis for his 2 BOB wins! Show B, our boy Jinx got the BOB. It’s always a tight competition between dad and his boy. I love them both. Sockeye, our old man managed to slide in another leg for BOG show B. We are working on building up our self group so that Sockeye can stay home.

This baby plays hard, eats hard and sleeps hard. 🥰 ya for a split second she scared me.

Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved friend, Myles. When we started our French lop project years ago, I had no idea what plagued this poor breed….And this is why we are done. We talked to the PA breeders for a year before we bought Myles. I was all but promised entropion was not in their lines. I wanted nothing to do with these eye problems and yet every buck I purchased prior to Myles would develop it. My OG girls appeared to be unaffected as was our starter buck (but he carried wool). We took Myles to fair in 2023 and shortly after I noticed one eye was bad. At 2 years old, both are just falling apart now and it was cruel to allow him to live in pain. We have made the best of his life and loved him dearly. He has spent many afternoons following me around the yard and playing in the grass. He was my buddy. He was so kind and gentle. He was never a jerk which would have made this easier but no. Our hearts are broken. They are the coolest rabbits, it’s just so sad. I admire the breeders who are honestly trying to breed this out and I wish them the best.
Last pic is ugly but it’s a good illustration of entropion.

I have been thinking a lot about Pickle, looking at her retirement and asking myself what that looks like for her. I really would like to see her retired on a farm somewhere, out of the show circle. Yet at the same time I know she has many good years of showing left and could make a little 4-Her really happy. She is retired from breeding and can no longer have babies.

Her list of notable rabbits are all throughout our barn. Pickle is what started our show success and left us a long line of winning rabbits. It’s hard to get much better show type than Pickle, and we knew it almost instantly. She set herself apart at 2 weeks old and I knew we had something really special. Her champion legs are in the upper 20's, with 1 RIS, numerous honorable mentions.

Pickle is not what I would call a sweet rabbit. She has always been compliant and done all that we have asked of her without growling or charging. Showing is not high on her list of fun activities nor is the constant blowing and primping of her lovely show coat. So, to be honest, her life has been in service to us as the show rabbit, mother, and very little about just being a regular rabbit, running around and getting pets here and there.
She likes her head rubbed and greets me everyday at her door. Pickle doesn’t love being picked up, but of course, has learned to tolerate it and does so without squirming or kicking. Pickle has had a lifetime of tolerating and very little about what she wants to do. She has never had the luxury of being just a pet, so she isn’t very good at it yet. It’s not her fault.

So as of now, we are going to work on her pet potential in hopes she can be placed in a pet home. She deserves it, she has earned it. If you think you could give Pickle a retirement home (limited 4-H showing is ok), please message me. She is nearly 5 years which is midlife for a dwarf rabbit.

We only brought 3 woolies to the NWRB. BOB for Jinx show B. Our sweet little Ladybug won her first BOSB leg! Dusted off Sockeye and he won his group I think all 3 shows. Congrats to all the winners. It’s always fun to see our bunny friends, especially those cute littles

Well, it seems my sweet Evie is indeed just a pet. (Who am I kidding, they all are). 😂She had a great show career and when it came time for babies, she fizzled out. Bred her more times than I could count with multiple baby daddy’s. So….. stay tuned. This poodle (puppy cut) is happening. I might need to enlist help from a real groomer tho. I super suck at this. She is such a good sport letting me sit and work on her. English angoras are just the coolest bunnies. Gotta love those ears. Ridiculous. ❤️
Oh ya, forgot to say. You can get your very own beautiful wooly model at Woodland Woolies. 😉

People ask me all the time about dogs and rabbits. My bunny security guard, Charlie. 13 years old and still running.... on borrowed time. My boy knows his job and does it so well. Often the rabbits will lay along the fence next to him. Our indoor bunny thinks he is a jungle gym hopping over and under him. Even on rainy windy nights he will post himself outside the barn door and wait for me to finish my chores. We don't let him do that much anymore, but he still tries to follow me. Such a kind, gentle and loving boy. I can't think about the day that is coming for him. Dang it's hard.

State convention is a wrap. We had a wonderful time camping with friends and had some surprising outcomes. 4 1/2 year old Pickle still got it!!!! BOB show A and BOSB show B (out of 31 woolies). Her boyfriend, Otis, over at Maycreek rabbitry did well too.
Thank you WSRBA for putting on this great show. Lots of pretty bunnies showed up. Congratulations to all the winners.
