We know several people have been waiting for the arrival of Zelda’s retirement litter. Zelda went into labor normally on Christmas Eve and delivered her first puppy, a little girl, at 1AM Christmas morning. Unfortunately, her remaining 6 puppies, all born through normal labor, were stillborn. Our vet can find no underlying reason as to why the littermates were stillborn, but there was proof that they had not fully developed all the way and had passed at least a few days prior to labor. There are no concerns regarding genetic issues that former adopters should be concerned about, per our veterinarian.

It was a gutting Christmas morning for our family, but we are just thankful that our little Evie is strong and doing well and that Zelda is healthy. At this point, we have not decided if Evie will be available for adoption or if she will remain a member of our family. We thank you all for being a part of our little family through these three litters ❤️

Hugo is another one of the pups from our last litter. He weighs around 89lbs and he is his owner’s best pal and farm buddy. They ride around on the Gator together and play in the creek. His owner reports that he is a very good boy and loves to shake hands!

Little Hugo gets to go home on Saturday, but until then he’s been hanging out with us at home ❤️ Here he is getting some snuggle time with daddy last night!

Finn (formerly Hans), first photo, and Diesel (formerly Aksel), second photo are all settled in at their new homes! Both have gotten great reports back. Finn got a glowing review from the vet and has already attached himself to his mom, following her everywhere she goes! Diesel was a surprise for his new mom and is getting along great with his new big brother Winston ❤️ Third photo shows Hugo (back) and Barnard (front) chilling out at home while Barney waits for his new mom to arrive! Hugo will be hanging out with us for another week and is learning allllll the ins and outs of being a good farm dog for his when new daddy takes him on ride alongs!

A happy day for our sweet Barney boy! He’s been adopted by a great home and will have a big brother to learn from as he grows up ❤️ just one more week with our sweet love bugs. We couldn’t be more pleased with our second batch of adopters and are so glad to have them all as part of our WMD family!

Another puppy found his forever home this morning! Just sweet Barnard left. We hope to get updated video, as well as their 7 week photos, of each puppy this week if the weather plays nice!

Handsome Aksel has been adopted ❤️ we can’t believe we just have two more weeks with these sweet babies before they can join their families on the 28th. Sending them off on their new adventures is always bittersweet!

Update photos of our sweet babies from today! We got video of a few but then the bitter Missouri wind cut outdoor playtime short. Going to try and get video of the other two tomorrow so we can post individual video of all four pups ❤️ everyone’s little ears are trying to stand up, I imagine some will pop up over the next week which is always SO adorable!

✨✨Hugo has been spoken for! The remaining puppies are available for reservation! ✨✨

Week four photos posed quite the challenge 😂 Two puppies were more interested in napping than posing and the other two were so busy trying to adventure that they would hardly keep still! Our early reservation family will be picking their puppy shortly and the other three available puppies will be open for deposits! Just four more weeks to go until these handsome fellas are ready to join their new families!

Our little boys turned 2 weeks old last week! Their eyes are wide open and they are on the move 👟 Believe it or not, this is one of the hardest weeks to get photos because they want to wiggle around so much. If you hang out with them for a while, they start to bark and growl at your toes 😂 Feisty little boys! They will get to venture out for some outdoor playtime here in a week or so as they continue to gain mobility. Something tells me that once we turn them loose, we might have a hard time getting our hands on them again.

We took one week photos of our four available babies on Thursday! They seem to be growing every single day 🥰

We are now accepting one early reservation on a male puppy from this litter. This family will place a deposit and have pick of the litter at 4 weeks. Once that family has made their selection, the remaining boys will come available for adoption!

Our five little babies had a great first night! We have one little girl, Heidi, and four handsome boys, Aksel, Barnard (Barnie for short!), Hans and Hugo. We will take one female and one male deposit starting early next week. The female deposit will secure Heidi and the male deposit guarantees that family first pick of the boys at 4 weeks. After 4 weeks the other boys will be available for reservation! These puppies will be eight weeks on January 28th, but we will be doing special Christmas photo shoots for all puppies adopted before Christmas so you can share with your family and friends or use the photo as a gift ❤️

Zelda had 4 sweet boys and 1 adorable girl today, and the most special part is that today is her birthday! Happy birthday momma 🥰

I have had lots of inquiries and wanted to make an update! Zelda has come back into heat and if she takes, we hope to have puppies shortly after the Christmas holidays. We will NOT begin accepting reservations and applications until puppies are born! We will update as soon as we know more ❤️

Our sweet puppies recently turned 6 months old! Here is a puppy check-in from our sweet Schatzie! Schatzie has been doing extremely well in her doggy training lately and recently graduated from Basic Training! We have had stellar reviews from all of our first-litter adopters and could not be more satisfied about how these puppies really have grown into their own. And we couldn't be happier that each of them found amazing families to join!!!

The first of our puppies goes home today, followed by three tomorrow and the last little baby on Sunday. It is bittersweet for sure, but I am so excited for each of them as they all have wonderful families of their own!

Well we knew that wouldn't last long! Our sweet Schatzie girl has found her forever home, and we are BEYOND excited for her as she is going to going one of our friends and have her own little girl to grow up with!

Future families! The big day is almost here! Our puppies will be ready to go home next Thursday, April 23rd. Some of you may know that I have been waiting for a surgery on my ankle for the past 5 weeks because of the coronavirus. I just got the call that my procedure will be on Thursday, the 23rd. I’ll be in touch with all of you regarding your pickup dates today or tomorrow so we can coordinate!

We turned six weeks old last week! All of our sweet babies except for Schatzie are adopted. Schatzie is a gorgeous girl, and is the first to have her ears stand up all on their own!

“Pupdate” video during dinner time! I did my best to point everyone out and make sure they got some screen time 😂 these little porkers are going to eat their families out of house and home while they’re growing! They never say no to a meal.

Also please don’t mind how dusty we are! Our new favorite thing is to dig in the dirt and roll in it 🤣
