To all of our wonderful customers,

I want to begin by thanking you for your continued loyalty and friendship over the last 2 years. Ruff Paws is my baby that has grown beautifully with an amazing cohort of pups and a fantastic team of walkers. As with all businesses, we’ve had our ups and downs, but these last few months have proved to be a big blow not only for the business, but in all our personal lives.
Firstly, it was the drastic rise in petrol/diesel prices. Travel is a huge part of what we do, and we have had to tailor our services accordingly e.g, limiting travel to the walk destination from your homes/ more frequent walks from home. This takes the excitement and adventure out of our walks and is not the vision I had for this company.
After this, then the came the worrying and inevitable rising costs of energy prices. Prices in which our wages simply do not cover. As we had already increased our prices in April this year, it would not be fair to again inform customers of another rise.
Therefore, I have ultimately decided that Ruff Paws will cease walking from Friday 30th September.
Please understand that this has been an incredibly difficult decision. As walkers, we choose to do this job because we absolutely love it and, over time, we build bonds with our clients and the dogs that we see and spend time with on a daily basis.
We all hope that these next two weeks find you well in selecting your next walker and we will deeply miss all of our lovely clients. I’d like to think of this sad time as being goodbye for now. If you are having any difficulty at all in finding a suitable replacement, please do reach out and we will do our best to help!

You're a little lady with a lot of energy and big personality! Whenever we lose a ball half way into walkies, we love how you can invent any object into something amazing that we must throw immediately, whether it be the muddiest stick or tiniest stone 😂 you're such a happy girl and you really do brighten up our days with your cheekiness!

We're looking for a fellow dog lover in the Morley/Birstall/Tingley area who likes to keep active and join us as a Ruff Paws Dog Walker!

Must have:
*own vehicle (suitable to transport up to 4 dogs)
*DBS certificate

And
We would love if you..
* hold some experience working with animals
* are first aid certified

○ Flexible working days and hours between 10.00am-3.00pm, Monday-Friday

NOTE- this is a part-time self-employed position.

* IMPAWTANT CLIENT NOTICE *

As the holiday season is fast approaching, in coming months we may be short staffed.

Specifically, these weeks will be:

W/C 25th APRIL

W/C 16th MAY

W/C 30th MAY

W/C 6th JUNE

I will be walking down the aisle on 31st May and then jetting off on a 2-week honeymoon to Mexico from June 3rd. But, don't worry!! As a true businesswoman, I will be taking my laptop with me, so will be contactable at times.

All staff at Ruff Paws will then be taking a one week holiday W/C 13th June.

Normality to resume W/C 20th June 🙂

We thank you all for your patience and understanding and will continue to always try our best to meet any required bookings 🙂

🆘We have therefore set up an Emergency Fundraiser for the animals of Ukraine & will ensure that your food donations reach the teams of rescue workers who are desperately trying to help these animals survive 🆘
