Yesterday, Kevin was diagnosed with a fib. I was at work but immediately left to join him at the cardiologist. Half way there, I get a call not to come. They scheduled an echo and he was leaving. They scheduled it 1 month from now! If this were vet med, he’d be completely worked up with a treatment plan and complete discharge explaining next steps. 😔 I found an article about a fib in extreme athletes (such as long distance runners) this morning. At least I feel like we have some answers.
