Every year I aim to decorate an ofrenda, one of these years I’ll get there.

Currently happening…. It’s been a week and it isn’t even over but I am taking a little time out of my day to grab a TAIL WAGGER. Now through Sept 20, visit or and support and their work. We all have one common goal—help and love on all the animals.

Penelope is still looking for the right foster/adopter! 🧡

Our amazing volunteer Shawn, who previously worked with Opie, has been taking her out on adventures in the Grand Valley! She’s gained a lot of confidence and socialization experience from her outings away from the County Shelter.

A foster home would only INCREASE her chances of finding her forever home sooner 💕

She’s a bit picky with other dogs and doesn’t love cats so she would love a home where she’s an “only child” but still gets socialization and attention.

A Denver-based non-profit, Bergen Spay & Neuter Alliance, will host a four-day spay and neuter clinic at the Mesa County Fairgrounds, 2785 US-50, on Aug. 7 through 10, to offer discounted spay and neuter services to community members who struggle to afford the procedure for their pets.

The mobile clinic will offer high-quality spay/neuter services to pet owners at a reduced rate for cats and dogs. The clinic will also provide free spay/neuter services for feral cats that community members are caring for.

Help a feral cat for free with the Trap-Neuter-Return program
