Well let me tell ya…. It’s my pocket sized Hannibal Lecter Lola bug 🥰
If you think veterinarian dogs are perfect, psh! Lola had emergency surgery on Labor Day to remove NOT ONE but TWO rocks in her GI tract that were not moving. Thank you for helping me recover her.
All to end up in the mobile unit, three days later for eating ANOTHER one. She just wanted to show off our digital x ray system. YEP Healthy Paws Mobile has that too. Shes thriving, don’t worry!

One of the MANY things I love about is the opportunity to make patients comfortable while they’re in my care. #1 priority. To help my furry patients recover and heal fast we use recovery suits (pjs) to promote less stress, protect against surgical sites, and ABOVE ALL— BE CUTE ❤️
But really, cones create confusion, panic, depression and disruption of their normal routine in kitties and doggies. Vet visits don’t have to be scary!

A little late to the game but I wanted to remind you that Fourth Of July can be a little scary for some of our furry critters. More pets go missing on this holiday than any other.
Here are some tips and reminders to keep your furry friend safe:
-reserve a quiet dark space in your home (closet, washroom)
-play some music, Dog.tv
-make it comfy so they can dream about chasing rabbits and not have fear over loud booms
-living better through chemistry ✨
-make sure you have updated information on all I.D. tags

Core vaccines are ESSENTIAL in helping your puppy or adult pet stay healthy for life!
BUT you know what is even worse, the disease itself especially Parvovirus. I’ve seen it, many times over and over again. My heart breaks along with other veterinary professionals when you see it and know it could’ve been prevented.
So here are a few tips to keep your fur baby healthy:
1) Please follow appropriate vaccination schedules for your doggies and stay up to date
2) If you get a new puppy, do not let it travel outside of your home until it has received the proper vaccines
3) If your dog has diarrhea or vomiting, contact your veterinarian. Especially if you are concerned about the vaccination status
