We have recently heard of a few bunnies choking on their food and want to share this very useful link to give advice on what you should do if you find your bunny choking. Sheldon sadly choked to death in January and we tried everything we could to save him but unfortunately his blockage was too deep (I find it very difficult to talk about this). :'( However, some bunnies lives could be saved by this simple maneuver. We had never heard of bunnies choking until we witnessed it for ourselves but since mentioning what happened to Sheldon it appears that it is actually quite common. :-( You can prevent your bunnies from eating too quickly by scattering their food around so that they can't scoff it all quickly out of a bowl.

We will never get our beloved Sheldon back but we can all learn something from his death. :-( Please SHARE this message to raise awareness.
