Always neuter your bunkids. There are so many benefits.
We're sorry for the graphic image, but we do think it is very important to know why we RECOMMEND spaying & neutering your rabbit.
This mass was removed from Rihanna during her spaying today. Rihanna is one of the bunnies that we rescued from the Jenada Isle community.
Spaying/ neutering a rabbit can significantly increase their life expectancy, and benefit their general health and well being as well. Studies have shown that there is an 80% chance a female rabbit will develop uterine cancer by the age of 4 if she is not spayed. Male rabbits are at risk for testicular cancer if they are not neutered.
Sterilized rabbits make better companions, are less aggressive, and are much easier to litter box train, as they will not mark their territory. And by being neutered/spayed they will not contribute to the overpopulation of unwanted rabbits like what happened at the Jenada Isle community.
As you can see there are many benefits to spaying/neutering a rabbit, so please have your bunny fixed as soon as possible.
Thank you.
