Forgive the awful quality, but during cage cleaning and moving moms into larger cages as their babies grow I discovered Rhaenys’ litter has eyeballs today! She had a relatively small litter for this line, they usually average 13+ and she only had 8, so they are some chonky babies! Their dad is Cashew, a very special hairless out of Elsie x Bull’s first litter,he only has one descended testicle! The other sorta floats between being half dropped and back up in his abdomen, he’s been checked over and given a clean bill of health and produced some amazing babies with no signs of the testicle being a genetic trait so far. So excited for these littles❤️

Super crazy story time!
About a year ago I had to take a hiatus and gave some of my rats to another breeder to continue the line for me, she adopted out one girl to another breeder.(Mystical Mischief Rattery) Fast forward to now, I’m best friends with Chris and we realized they still had the girl and one of her babies! Her daughter is still of breeding age so she came home with me, it’s so nice to have a reboot of my original line and to get a little piece of Grandma Phoenix back❤️ This girl acts sooooooo much like her grandma, so I decided she needed to be named after her.

Don’t mind the dirty branches, I did litter today and tomorrow all the wood is being deep cleaned. It’s been a loooooong day.
I panicked today when I realized I was out of large hammocks for the big boys, so I did the only thing I could think of🤣 grabbed some clips and strung up an old bra to be a hammock and so far it’s a hit!❤️ love my special boys, like Tommy and Mister Davey the No eyed wonder❤️
When Davey was a weanling he got bedding in his eye and ended up losing it, fast forward to a few months ago he sustained an injury which resulted in him rupturing and losing the other eye, so now this sweet kissy lovey boy is loving with no eyes but doesn’t let it slow him down at all❤️you’d never know he’s blind based on her personality❤️ hoping to get beautiful babies from him some day

Not sure if there will be availability from this litter, but I just had to share since they finally have their peepers open❤️ and I thought it was just the coolest thing ever that the two velveteen pups are also top ear like das, and the satin pups have dumbo ears like mom❤️

One of my beta fish was being picked on by my other fish so I moved them into a smaller tank so she could heal with her sisters, and the rats are just mesmerized! 10/10 recommend
