Have you heard the term ✨sublingual✨?
*Sub * meaning under and *lingual* meaning the tongue
When we feed or take certain supplements sublingually, the herb or nutraceutical (think b12 or melatonin) has the ability to bypass the digestive system as a whole and is absorbed directly into the blood stream through the mucus membranes in the mouth.
Some of Furbal’s extracts are recommended to be fed this way, while others definitely can but are still beneficial if placed directly into their food.
The ones that that are recommended to be given sublingually are the blends that you want a quicker effect from, from that dose. Examples of this is Fast Relax & CBD when your pet is acutely injured. This is because you are expecting a faster response to help your dog through something, right now.

Some dogs are simply more sensitive to life’s changing factors than others and some are suffering with or working through frustrating digestive intolerances, which often shows up as chronic ear infections! (Leroy’s sure did!)
Recently, I tried out a new dehydrated food for Leroy which looked relatively great! Besides missing a few key ingredients I’d like him to be eating that I added after.

Springtime Leroy 2-4 years ago was a sad sad boy 😔
His environmental allergies use to rock him! Once a year, he would get welts all over his body which improved to what you’re seeing here.. looking like he got punched in the eye 👁️ 🤛 Crazy that this was an improvement !! But this year it stayed just to his big ol’ beautiful head and didn’t take over his body.
